I am for arena PvP – sry, but for me, WvW is boring. Unless you catch some random ppl off to the side, it’s just a huge zerg fest – roll up to a door, battering ram, kill oil, cloud of smoke – not my thing. Where’s the actual thinking and skill of it when you have such massive numbers? I just like PvP on a smaller scale. I had always liked open-world PvP in other games too… I haven’t played wow in years, and it was all PvE for me when I played it, so don’t put me with the ‘trying to make it like WoW’ crowd. I enjoyed the arena play of GW1. I love this game as it is, it’s just that the current PvP mode right now isn’t appealing, but I play it from time to time just to break up the monotony. Right now, I don’t even see the draw of joining a guild. Maybe I am still oblivious to any advantages? I just join a world and boom, tons of ppl. I didn’t play the Beta – I started with the early-access. Just my thoughts.
