1. bring back old stability,this is not korean mmo we dont need to get cc for 40 sec thx, old stability was what made gw2 actually more enjoyable,
2. Friday reset !!! people have more time to play on weekends. Weekend is where we were able to stay longer fight guilds from other timezone, really enjoy the game was 2.5 days straight non stop fights for most servers and players.
3. bring back old alpine borderlands just the way it was with old waypoints, no tactivators please, remove new maps as they dont promote fights , i can do cardio workout outside the game, thank you, don’t need to run 30 min up and down the stairs to get to a point.
4. seasons/reset glico periodically, re-evaluate the way glico is done
5. rewards, most wvw players dont want to pve in order to keep up with food/oil/etc for wvw.

you guys might think about also combining some lowest tier servers at this point, we dont need that many servers anymore. Other things to consider: do we need 4 maps anymore? would 2 be enough? EBG and 1 alpine borderland?

starting to wonder if anet actually read any of that, obviously they doing the opposite of what wvw players actually want.

WvW friday resets on old bls used to have all map qued for at least first 4 tiers, now small que on ebg for short time, rest bls empty with small groups running, rest of time everyone spend time in ebg with no ques during na. So wvw population is likely 20% of what it was before they released hot or actually much less.

Great idea, hope anet listens to players, but as we know best predictor of future is the past. If they keep with their new bls and unbalanced classes as well as cc changes they made, they will loose the rest of wvw population. I bet anet still dont realize that they actually had huge player base who only did wvw, and got revenue from in terms of gems, whelp thats mostly gone now.

from personal experience looks like population shrinked to 1/3 to 1/4 of what it used to be pre-hot release, lots of players were waiting for something big and for more players to come back to wvw, instead HOT pulled players from wvw maps, new maps became too cumbersome to navigate, discourage finding other groups since you have to walk up, down stairs, get lost several times before trying to get to other group. For a lot of guys, that was final nail. On positive side new classes brought variability to builds. 95% of playerbase rather stay in ques for hours in ebg than go to new bls. Lots of players that only played wvw already quit game as producers failed to implement correct changes to this game mode. Wvw population is shrinking daily/weekly with more people leaving gw2, alliance if implemented might shrink population even further. People that are still playing wvw, playing it a fraction of time compared to pre-hot days.

[VP] Venator Phalanx fight oriented wvw guild on Dragonbrand, now recruiting EU timezone players for our wvw raids : 16-22 UTC

We are stable, well established, close knit community, looking to restart our EU raids. Currently we have 3-4 EU timezone drivers looking for more players, plans to run 15-20 players on regular basis during EU.
We have guys from all over Europe , US/Canada/South America and some Australians as well

Guild was established in gw1, present in gw2 since beta, stable community, we have lots of old players who still playing with us for over 2-3 years as well as new ones, friendly community

We also do have NA raids but we are currently not recruiting for NA timezone, limited to only friends and family at this time.

DB getting slowely more well rounded coverage, meaning you will find plenty of fights in all timezones, no ques except small one for some maps on reset. If you are solo player, havoc guild or a fight guild, there is a place for you on DB if your group not raiding at the time, you will find plenty to do and groups to follow.

DB community is steadily growing with players coming back before hot , they all need guilds, recruitment potential is pretty good, as few of our guilds not recruiting atm.

Elixir C will remove all condi and concert it to 1 boon, on the description it said convert it to boons. I’ve heard that it used to convert it multiple boons, sort of like guardian skill contemplation of purity. Tested it in pvp, pve with same results.

Hey Aryes, I agree with your comments, there are tons of guilds who mainly use guard/war/necro combo. I have been one of the guild leader and guild raid commander for a strike/havoc team 5-18 players. We had 3 regular engis at all time, support/heal, sniper engi and condi engi, not unusual to have 5 engis and 2 guards per raid, thief, 2-4 warriors, few mesmers, 1-2 eles, 1-2 necros.Saying that we kicked kitten a lot of trains with similar or bigger size. There are ways to counter stacked up trains, and engis have always place in a team. I think a lot of people are bit narrow minded they look at current meta but they don’t look how to counter it or change it. Its always good idea to know how to play other classes and knowing what each class can bring to the team is important. In my opinion there are no terrible classes just players that play them. All I can say, keep looking, there are tons of good guilds/players who think like you and have no build/class requirement, you just have to find them. Not every player wants play standard guard/war meta, or standardized build, it’s your game you should enjoy/change/experiment with build/classes there is always a counter to everything in this game. Forcing people to play given build/class was something my guild was always against. Due to busy in life/career few members of my guild including me had to stop playing hardcore wvw and guild currently taking it easy after over 1.5 years of havoc/strike team play, otherwise I would recruit you in a heart beat, but there are other guild like mine who will recruit guys like you.

About us:
We are primary wvw guild, strike team guild, running 10-15 players, our specialty is open field fights, tower defense, distraction on map. We are masters of taking towers/keeps, with little force we have we do contribute a lot to PPT.
We do have set wvw time for raids, but usally there is always someone in wvw anytime from Oceanic to Euro to NA. We are most active on Euro and early NA timezones, running 10-15 guys. We do have lots of roamers in off peak hours.
We run tagless 99% times, no zerging. Few of us do enjoy running dungeons and high level fractals in off peak hours, we have assigned time for pve for those who want it. We are one of the few guilds that do have lots of experienced engineers and know how to utilize them properly

We are close community, gw2 is not just a game, its a friendship. Each member is treated with respect. If you are troll, map spammer or cant get along with others do not apply or you will be kicked.

Population: currently 80 members, mostly mid 20s- 50s age range, good mixed of males, females, couples playing together. We run together as a group in wvw, we are serious about fights, but we have friendly atmosphere on ts, no yelling or calling names !!!

In Guild Wars 2, VP originated on Blackgate running 4-5 havoc squad. In the past we were in Devonas Rest. Currently, our guild’s home is on Borlis Pass for past several months.

3. 100% rep strongy suggested, you can be kicked if you dont rep. 100% rep in wvw and during assigned wvw time required.

Team builds are suggested but not required, we strive to have good mix of tanks, mixed and glassy builds, working on group synergy and balance.

it appears that there is a glitch on fire greatsword elite skill of elementalist, where enemy can go through gate, player was not present in the tower prior to attack, after picture was taken 3 more came with fire gs before tower was capped.

picture from sunnyhill in bg bl, few min ago, must be a glitch or something because i saw sor guys coming through wall while they attacked tower, and no, they were not there prior to attack, after this picture 3 more came through the door (no portal) were capping tower before zerg managed to take down gate. all guys who came through the tower had fire greatsword elementalist elite skill.

Hurrah for posting Crixus!! This was an amazing 2 hours here, we held FC Bay against the odds. Just goes to show you Siege really doesn’t help with offensive strikes.

Defended FC bay for about 6 hrs, later on people logged off and mysterious ioj Zerg came from south while FC held north and our spawn. Still some good fights and huge boost in morals to all DR playing wvw. Thank you so much all DR players for helping out defending swarms after swarms of FCs and having trust in our tactics, united we prevail against all odds outmanned fights or not, DR is going strong !!!

Come to Devona’s Rest, where our clever server wide strategy is to lull our opponents into a false sense of security!

And you will be able to laugh your kittens off in VP channel by listening to comments of our finest scottsman, VP as well as many other guilds in DR do tons of tactics, trolling , etc but priority is to have lots of fun and have laugh which we do have tons on DR server every day.

Word of advice: look for a healthy challenging server that you guys will make a difference in and get that glory instead of joining bandwagon. tiers are often, not always, about coverage, those map ques, and not level of gameplay.

VP fun time at prime time, NSP BL yesterday.

I must say I was thoroughly amused by the fights with [VP] in GoM BL during prime time yesterday.

10-15 or so bunkered up in Astral with 5-7 of us outside while one of your guys spammed /laugh, only to be wiped a few minutes later by the sentry point near the tower.

And then there was a more or less even numbered fight at lake tower where we only had 2 people go down, but not a single one died.

Not meant to be a flame, but I will say that whoever the [VP] guy was spamming /laugh makes it look bad. Especially when you had twice our numbers at the time (we didn’t fight there, we waited until we met at that sentry point, but still). Obviously it was just one person, but it reflects on everyone wearing the tag, you know?

Willowbreeze, thx for letting us know, we have lots of new recruits still in training. We do not wave, etc. I will let people know. About lake, hmm I have video from yesterday fighting with you guys, was more of an equal number fight where you guys get whipped or run away later on, maybe you talked about some other time i wasn’t there. Anyways we have fun with you GOM as well.

Thanks GoM and NSP for great fights yesterday at GoM and NSP BL whole day . Me and VP had one of the best days in wvw since transfer to DR a month ago, and one of the best days overall in wvw. Really good, competitive fights, so much better than fighting in tier 1,2 or against DH and IoJ. Keep it up guys !!!
