Guild Wars 2

So i was doing the Scarlet event, killing champions and i noticed that my exp bar is full, when i moused over it said 255.024/254.000
Now after getting some exp the bar shows 36.910/254.000 but the bar graphic is full, also i did not receive a skill point from when i leveled previously.
Allot of people that i spoke to in my guild have this problem.

So i just started gw2 about 1 hour ago, logged in with no problems(was in LA) and about 10 seconds after that my game just froze an when i opened the task manager it says not responding, so its not a frame drop or anything.
I tried to log back in after and each time i log in and click “Play” the game just freezes on the character screen and in order to close it task manager is requiered.
On the last time i tried to log in after it froze the sound was still playing, but game still frozen and not responding.

Please if anybody has any tips on this.
I did try to lower the grafs and still didnt work, but another small problem was that the options menu was transparent so i couldn’t see the options that well.
