Linestro I believe this is the same issue I am facing. I run an engineer and if you place your turret on auto attack it does just that with a 1200m range. If the turret is destroyed another one will respawn once the CD is up.

I responded to the GM but I am not sure what their position is going to be. I feel very foolish but I frankly did not think this was against the rules :/

I have had the exact same experience. I was banned for using a 3rd party program. Then the next day it changed to terminated account for using same.

I played an Engineer and would put the turret on auto attack (which causes it to attack any mobs in range and once destroyed re-spawn) during an event.

That is the only thing close to a violation that I can find in my actions in this game. I got my email today from GM Khaine that said they had found evidence that supported this 3rd party program – but that is impossible.

I run Kasperky and Ventrilo and that is it while playing. This seems like an egregious penalty and completely unfair.

Is there anyway to appeal beyond being contacted by a GM?

Banned for using a bot or third party program. I have NEVER used a third party program in over 13 years of mmo gaming (hihi EQ).

I only run Kasperky (virus scanner) and Ventrilo while playing GW2. I have spent several hundred dollars on this game and was really enjoying this game…until now

I play an engineer (I even bought my son an account that he plays…and now I cannot join him). Please help.

They changed my message from permanently banned to terminated today

I was playing in a tournament and got disconnected. I tried to log back in and got a message that my account was permanently banned for using a third party program. I sent in a ticket but still waiting…001:000498:51590

I have never used a third party program and only run Kaspersky (virus scanner) and Vent when I am playing. Sometimes, I alt tab to view things online but that is it.

I have spent a lot of money on this game and I am very frustrated…
