You where living under a rock if you didn’t see the grenade nerf coming. Seriously. I never got too attached to it because I knew it had “balance me” written all over it as soon as I started clearing entire areas with my auto-attack.

Sorry for expecting them to do the logical thing, which would’ve been nerfing the Grenadier trait, which is so powerful it just makes the idea of balancing the kit stupid. Now grenade kits is pretty much worthless if you’re not traited up to grenadier, yet is arguably still overly powerful in some areas (vulnerability stacking, maybe bleed stacking now too) when you do have Grenadier.

To be honest i don’t really mind the grenade nerf that much, even if I think they did it the completely wrong way. Using them was pretty stressful without any kind of auto-attack. Now they don’t have the damage edge to justify going through the annoyance of using them.

Never had this happen to me, nor have I heard of it happening to anyone where I play (EU).

You could always make sure you’re the one who starts the instance, because if the starter leaves the group everyone else gets kicked as well

Stopped playing spvp on my elementalist because it plays like a kittened engineer now.

Respecced to a condition based staff build in pve to try and make up for lost damage. dropped healing power completely because I feel it no longer gives enough. Hurray for spamming eruption all day long, but atleast it’s fairly effective and gives some blast finishers if I can be bothered to time fields. Also magnetic field is just so great in the new content it’s nice to have -20% on the cooldown of that.

Lackluster but hell, it beats anything else grandmaster traits have to offer! Why did I spend that 2 gold on buying that stupid book. 2G is not much but it could have been spent on something better.

Because 25 water is awesome. 30 water can be good too!

In PvP, Shaman’s gear provides toughness + condition damage + healing power. From what I can tell, there is no equivalent in PvE. Odd.

Crafted Apothecary gear added in yesterday’s patch is Tough/Cond/Healing Power.

Viable PvE builds after 11/15?

Actually warrior shouts are very good healing.

With 500 healing power I’m doing 3000 healing every 20 seconds and 1500 every 24 seconds in an area a bit larger than healing rain centered around me with no cast time, usable when cced. Plus this removes conditions on me and gives might and fury on everyone and vulnerability on mobs.

Sure ele has higher healing potential, but it requires people to be in relatively small areas to work. In most PUGs I’d say my warrior is healing more than my primarily staff ele now.

Still going to take 30 arcane for EA?

Not totally sure, on one hand the extra boons from faster recharge + longer boon duration are enticing, but on the other hand the two last trait slots in arcana really might as well be empty now (ok, water dodge is still good, but the others…).

Then again, not like there are any traits I’d particularly want in trees other than water either. Such freedom to build your character when you don’t really care for any of the choices offered!
