What do you think counts as a large company? Why do people say, “well this game did it” or “that company did it” and think that’s a plausible argument?

May the rest of the respondents please note this is what I meant by stupid responses.

People like you are the kinds that have no idea what it takes to make servers for different regions. You think all comapnies and games are made the same, work with the same budget, resources, help, ideas, and vision, and you expect them to cater to you and have what you would consider to be quality of life items.

You are the ignorant one. Close-minded and full of false pretense. If a free to play game like Tribes Ascend can manage Oceanic servers then a pay to play game like Guild Wars can too. I assure you that the game developers here have a MUCH bigger budget, idiot, logic. I work in network management and tech support, I know more than you do, child.

Secondly, to the other gentleman who actually made valid points.
If they had done what they should have from the start (oceanic servers) then that would not be an issue. It’s 2013 but major companies are still overlooking this region to save money. I assure you if they made GW2 and only offered EU servers or something, NA would be up in arms and doing all kinds of craziness.

Why aren’t there any Oceanic servers? For such a large company it would be nothing to have at least one.

We paid to play the game, whereas even a free game like Tribes: Ascend has Oceanic servers. What makes Guild Wars 2 so different that it can’t cater for an entire region? Afraid about WvW? So just put us with a different server for that aspect of the game.

It makes PvP boring and dull and don’t even get me started on mini-games.
I don’t care if this has been asked before, I’ve read through some and the answers are sometimes stupid but always vague.
