Nope, and dmg-reduction or invulnerability skills don’t work with falling damage, aka Armor of Earth, Mist Form or Obsidian Flesh won’t save you from falling.
Just noticed Mist Form and figured that would do the job if timed right, though if that doesnt stop fall damage despite stating the word ‘invulnerable’ then thats not just misleading, but also means we dont have anything at all to make up for the lack of the trait..

Did a few searches though i wasn’t getting any reults on this topic, hence this thread :p
Started playing an elementalist recently (loving the class so far!) though i couldn’t help but notice they seem to lack a trait that all other classes seem to have (unless i’m mistaken).
What appears to be missing is a 50% reduced fall damage trait, i was curious, why is this? do ele’s have something else that we can use to survive long falls, for example in jumping puzzles etc, that make up for it?
Same here. Keep getting lag spikes every now and then, sometimes i’ll get random diconnections to.
Seems to have started when the last halloween event patch went up, or at least i didnt have any of these problems before then.
Sooo.. still broken eh?
BTW I made this thread in General discussion…guess a mod moved it to bugs so I assume its a bug?
I hope its a bug :p and not working as intended, unless Anet are trolling us by designing the 100% completion star to work like this :o
But if the post has been moved to the bugs forum, then at least i guess that means they are aware of it, though i see no reason to stop bumping this to the top just in case.
Wish I hadn’t Bothered getting the explorer achievements to finish off my 100% map completion now that i know this.
Really does explain why when I’m in the wvwvw eternal battleground puzzle and I try to hide from large groups of enemy players, they always seem to make a bee-line straight to my hiding spot…
This needs to be changed. Make it fade out with our name or remove it completely from spvp/wvwvw, that or at least give us the option to turn the kitten thing off.
I for one will be avoiding wvwvw almost completely until this is fixed.
