This is still a problem with Ultra shadows.
I checked my video settings after the recent update (to set WvW settings) and went through the older settings to see if there were any new options (like ultra). Put Shadows (and LoD) on Ultra and sure enough this horrific hitching issue came back.
Now that the new content is released, again, will this actually be looked into and resolved, along with the numerous other technical issues with the game?
Another thread on the issue (can we get a merge?): https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/frame-rate-with-camera-turning-since-update

I thought it wouldn’t work well with a 16:10 resolution, but it did improve it.
Would definitely like to see a slider though.
As for the people complaining about performance loss.. duh!, you’re increasing what’s rendering on the screen, there’s no way to avoid performance loss from that.
There is already a bunch of other topics about this.
Here’s one: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Trading-post-words-hard-to-read
I have been having this issue as well. I don’t recall it being a problem in BWE1.
Making the game use ALchemy does not change the issue. (X-Fi card)
I assume they modified the sound system after BWE1. Unfortunately, it’s for the worse. Some sounds will disappear entirely or come back after a short while.
Reported the bug during headstart, so doesn’t hurt to report it here too.
To start with: I do not have this trait (not even passed level 40 yet).
Despite that, I rallied at random during Vengeance after a slaughterfest. I thought maybe if you killed enough you would rally and that the tooltip wasn’t accurate, but the next time I tried it I never rallied.
So, I’m pretty sure there’s a bug with Vengeance.
Where have I seen this before?
Oh yeah, every BWE event, and each time it was apparently ignored.
The only thing they did was fix actual bugs (or design choice, not sure; like that double click twitch) with the camera.
As I keep saying; the game was rushed out and this just one of the hundreds of things wrong with it.
While everything here is really important, the one thing the game desperately needs right now is an extended zoom or FoV slider. The view is too narrow, even zoomed out all the way. It’s not impossible to play, but there’s always that kind of feeling that something isn’t right and it’s really bothersome when you can’t do what you want to due to the narrow FoV.

I captured this a week ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvjExIQ0l2o
Resolution does not matter.
It’s the fact that they chose to UPSCALE or DOWNSCALE the UI instead of re-render a different font size.
A terrible oversight. This has to be fixed by them, we can only workaround it by keeping the UI scaling as normal.
Another scaling issue is the ‘large’ font size isn’t large, it’s just a bolded version of the normal size.
As the title says, this sigil is not giving 5 power like it says on the tooltip. Instead, it gives 2 power.
Just another issue added onto the dozens upon dozens with the game.
i loled. there are actually some games though where u can have 2 shields.
Dark Souls, yeeeah.
During headstart my server had up to 3 second delays on actions rendering combat unplayable. I was forced to stop playing for about 5 days total before things were resolved.
As of now however, latency has been alright for the last few days. There’s still times when things take longer than they did in beta, but at least it’s still playable.
I would rather the server caps be lowered again and a few more servers be opened. Latency in an action combat game is not something that should be there. (Also, would be nice if there were east coast servers so we don’t have an inherent 80ms distance latency before anything is received/sent to/from the server.)
Yep. http://screenshot.xfire.com/s/125291648-4.jpg
Happens way too frequently under water, but also happens on land. Not only that, but mobs will randomly ‘evade’ and path back to spawn. I am all too familiar with this evade bug from early WoW.
Another possibly related bug is the fact that ranged attacks will get ‘obstructed’ at complete random. This is very frustrating.
