Some Suggestions befor say good bye

First of all I want to say that I have enyoyed this game from the beggining. I like the history, the classes (included revenant), the expansion and all in general. The new mounts and specializacions incoming are very interesting too.
However from HOT I have had difficults with my computer to play well and It seems the way ends here. Because the system requeriments, there will not be possible to my lovely machine and me follow the path to Elona.

But before leaving I would like to share some impresions and ideas to Anet team and the guild wars community:

I have missed some old GW1 things that did the game different from others and as old players liked very much:

-Guild vs Guild, I mean 8v8 fights, fighting in your guildhall, take the banner…
-Heroe’s Ascent, the other 8v8 team fight classificatory tournament
-Some ‘instances’ that were popular: Underworld, Fissure of Woe, Tomb of Primeval Kings…
-Heroe’s companions.
-The monk class (I know guardians have inherited more things from them but… going tattooed was cool…)
-Dynamic scenarios in WvW like the luxon-kurzik war was.

Also some own suggestions to GW2 that I would fix/add:
-Other skill per legend to Revenant. When select the legend you can choose what skill don’t use. The racial skills could be selected here too. Of course they cant be changed in combat/pvp.
-Skill coherence for the other professions. I think in general there are 5 type of skills for each profession. Then 1 healing skill and 2 elite are missing. There are some skills that that has no category yet (like mending from warrior, ether feast – mesmer, shelter – guardian…
-I would review the traits that never are used…
-I whised to view new playabe races: tengus, largos, and may be another serpent-like one.
-I was a little dissapointed not seeing new weapons in the new expansion. In exchange of non-iclude new class/race in Path of Fire I would have added new weapons for the current classes, in special spear!! (Elona was the country of the order of the sunspears…). Other ones could be crossbow, chakram, sickle… and a new kit for engies.
-In the future I would add a ocean-theme expansion and I would do a serious review of underwater skills.
-I would add damage over time to chill conditon that increases if the target dont move.
-Event chains in WvW, like making centaurs friendly, then select attack options to act in the battle like an mercenary unit, then settle in a tower as their new base… and may be a dragon/giant to siege a fortress?…

I think these are the most imporant thoughts stored in my mind.

Finally thanks to all players and developers to share experiences and time of play. I hope to coincide in the future again.

Experiences playing rev after nerf

Hello,
Im happy with the ‘nerf’. I like to play hybrd shiro/mallyx and the new stunbreak added to Mallyx helps a lot. My main damage sources are autoattack and banish enchantment. I use sword 2 to stop kitters and sw3 to evade. Better success and fun from the last patch, at least for my play style.
