I too was booted at the last of the big battle. I just hope that the GW2 ppl learn from the mistakes of this event and never make them again: bugs with NPCs, a one shot event (the big battle at the end) keeping many ppl from being able to play due to having to deal with real life. The Lost Shores had so much potenial, but failed for so many. Still, I have not lost faith and am looking forward to what is next.
