Hi, not sure if this is the correct thread, but it definitely is something graphical.
Ever since I bought this nice game I have certain problems with some NPC’s or other monsters not appearing. They are sort of invisible. It does not happen with every NPC, but sometimes I see an icon (for example, a Trading Post icon) on top of nothing, which is shown in the first screenshot. I did not zoom in on the minimap because it happens all over the place, so it’s not location-specific. Furthermore, when I open my inventory or my character page or almost any other screen (including minimap). It doesn’t display everything (sometimes it’s just the edges, like the rest isn’t loaded). This is shown in the second screenshot. Usually it helps to Alt-Tab several times, but every time I open something new, same problem over again. I tried a lot of things, even playing on absolute minimal graphics, but to no avail. My Laptop specs are as follows:
- HP Pavilion dv7 with Intel Core i7 Q720 (1.6GHz)
- 8GB RAM
- Windows 7 64bit
- AMD Radeon HD 5650 with 2GB
I do not believe it’s a network issue either, because I experience the same problem at home as well as on campus, though I always connect wirelessly.
