SoR isn’t tier 1 material until we get start getting some WvW guilds to step up. Right now we’re mainly pugs following commanders and it’s a handicap when trying to be flexible on the field. Basically we’re stuck reacting more than taking the initiative because all the pugs follow one commander.

PRX basically runs the show once they hit the field because #1. they’re freaking huge and #2. they got very good commanders on VOIP. I remember them on HoD and they were my #2 choice of a guild I wanted to join.

Hmmm, okay.

SoR will be a t1 server if we get the coverage from 12am – 8 am PST. It didn’t help that KIWI transfered off the server for this matchup so what little coverage we had was even fewer and far between.

PRX is a worthy opponent but they don’t sit on the mantle like the quoted poster makes them out to believe. They die, just like everyone else in the Wv3 lake.

Nothing cool. No kitteny shoulders, no skins, no permanent tonics/banker/etc.

The worst part? They ninja nerfed the keys return rate. I used 40 keys and got 4 back. 25% return rate my kitten.

I spent my money of my own free will and i’m not upset over the loss of money. I’m upset at the loss of faith in A.Net just to get over on the customers. What happened to integrity? Next time I feel like buying gems i’ll just make a donation to a food bank or homeless shelter.

Just would like to add about the queue’s.

The queue’s are broken. No one should ever sit in a queue longer then 30 minutes without requeueing from a zone other then Lion’s Arch. If after 2 requeue’s you still didn’t get your pop you need to log completely out and then queue from the mists… you’ll get in 15 minutes every time.

Good fights tonight in SoS this morning, CD in the afternoon and SoR in the evening. Truly epic day of WvW! We had such a good time and thank everyone who was apart of it and made the effort to join into the community team speak and make our coordination even better.

With that said, all these trash guilds that came and ruined our queue, why don’t you make a name for yourselves transfering to a non-winning server, instead of bandwagoning in and ruining it for those of us that have been here?

Well SoR should not celebrate just yet. Whatever guild jumped to their server will just jump to another on friday, and SoR will get their kitten handed to them. Mark my words.

Daboss here, commander of Wv3 for Tempest Wolves formerly of Jade Quarry. Just would like to say that we know first hand what out of control transfers can do to a server and it’s not our intention to bring that type of environment to SoR. JQ changed with the times and ruined alot of guilds play experience so we made the researched choice to move to SoR.

We are far from “Bandwagon” as we came from the #1 NA server to the 14th, that isn’t proper usage of the word. SoR has been very welcoming to the guilds that transfered here, you’ve gotten JQ’s original foundation… the one’s that ran the borderland that would beat hod at its prime. Irony, Knights of White Wolf, Dawn Eternal, Tempest Wolves, Exitium, Final Dawn, Lords of Corruption, Fate and others guilds and not to mention a handful of solo players that enjoyed the type of Wv3 experience that we collectively brought. I ask that you give us a chance, as we are all very experienced guilds that have been around MMO’s for years, and we all bring a high level of skill to what ever we do.

When we transfered here from JQ (at noon pst saturday) Yaks had a dominate lead of 25k+ and plenty of screenshots on these forums boasting to Yak’s early victory. Before we made the call we looked at prior weeks match ups, who was on this community (Hi vigilance alliance that originally planned to roll with us on JQ) and the queue time break down from A.net. SoR had a perfect foundation and it’s our intention to work with whats here to build a SoR that is inclusive for all. You had little to no queues at our collective guilds “prime time” and yes, this week you’ve had long queues… but once the matches are competitive queues will even out and it’ll still be much better then sitting in JQ queues for 2-3+ hours with requeueing.

We recognize the hard work and long hours that all the native SoR members put into making the community special. People are on edge right now because SoR is entering into an era of unknown as far as community and competition and it’s human nature to fear the unknown. Friday will bring new blood to spill and i think we’ll be just fine.

Daboss – Tempest Wolves

They have personal progression for WvW with the achievements, but i think it’s mostly titles. Evan from A.net said those titles are supposed to have the same feeling of accomplishment as getting your realm ranks from DAOC.

You really shouldn’t be blaming the transfers or the servers, if anyone is to blame for this it’s A.net. From t1 – t5 (servers ranked 1-15) it’s a one sided victory, it feels like this was a balancing week in terms of new distribution of transfers. This Friday’s matchup will be much different compared to this week.

Edit: and we didn’t bandwagon, we came from JQ… just wanted to add to what was already established in SoR. Don’t worry, all the top 5 pairings are one sided. Next week will be the action packed fight we all want.

Well thanks for your kind words. We agree something needs to be done with the server transfers, it is having a major impact on WvW and if it continues to go unchecked it will ultimately hurt the game. We’ll see how everything shapes up when they release the WvW patch in the up coming months.
