What is the ip of the snowden drifts you were in.
Is there a way to check without actually being able to log in?
So was doing the Snowden Drifts daily last night, pretty standard stuff. Finished one event and then the game froze and disconnected, and booted me off. Whatever, I try again, but after staying on the Snowden loading screen for a few minutes it just happens again. So I just figure that the servers are having problems…
UNTIL I log into my other toons and find i can log into Lion’s Arch, HoTM, all my other characters work, I did a full fractal without disconnects. And the whole time my guardian is stuck in un-loadable Snowden Drifts.
Was hoping whatever problem happened would fix itself overnight…guess not.
I filled out a support ticket but i’m not…hopeful.
Anyone have any ideas what might’ve happened? It…really sucks losing access to my main, haha
Thanks Ceres, but you didn’t really read my post. All the instructions are for Windows 7 which I don’t have.
Anyways, I think i’ve solved it. I googled vpns for Vista and found a youtube video with nice simple instructions (for my nice simple mind) for VPN connections in Vista and it appears to be working. (This is after reading all I could on the internet in the last hour on what a vpn is and should I trust a site i’ve never heard of? Most reviewers that I trust gave the site a thumbs up.)
Well….at least I’ve passed the 4% download mark now and well on my way to 30%. It’s progress!

We do Teq 2-3 times per day and Wurm once daily. However, applications are currently closed but might be open again in a couple of weeks.Keep in mind that with the new megaserver changes, the current multi, cross-server guild model for doing these events will have to change. It is quite likely to become impossible to organise properly to do these events, particularly on a daily basis.
This is also true for any server currently doing these events. So ,yeah, if you need/want to get these achievements, better do so very soon, because I can see these events never succeeding again.

Basically the topic.
I haven’t beaten this boss since it came out, I’d like to try for victory and pick up a few of the achievements I have missing. Problem is, I have no idea where to go!
Are there any servers/guilds that do it at a particular time that I can jump in? I really dunno much about how to find this information.
But I wanna try to get it done before April 15th lol
If the even and world bosses are going to happen at 1/8th the frequency, can we get 8 times the loot…?
Well with all the stuff coming in the April 15th patch I was pretty excited to get back into the game, mess around with skins and my appearance, respec with the new traits and stuff…
And now this? Bosses and events were my bread and butter man, they and the community around them were the mains stuff I would do, even if I could only get on for 2 hours a day, I could still do everything.
But this? This is ridiculous, pretty much every problem with this system has already been brought up. What’re smaller guilds even supposed to do? Just, forget about world bosses I guess…
HA, you advice worked! The hint game up, only problem is it didnt remove itself from what I need to complete, so I guess it is bugged after all :B

The hint says “Enter deathshroud form F1 when you have low health. Every foe you kill increases your lifeforce bar, which lets you stay longer in deathshroud.”
For the death shroud acheivement I had to be Really low on health for it to trigger.
I mean really low. Less than 100 hit points left then I triggered death shroud and dinged the acheivement.That’s what worked for me. Hope it helps.
Ok, I’ll try that! I tried waiting with full shroud until something kills me but not when i just had low health, thanks.
I’m at 81/83 for the hint achievement and the only things that arent checked off is the Necro death shroud hint and the trebuchet one (which should be easy)
I’ve been leveling my necro and he’s like level 6, is there any way to make this hint thing pop up? I’ve only made him for the achievement, and I’ve read that it can bug sometimes, so I’m just trying to figure out if I havent gotten yet or it froze up on me.
EDIT: Just unlocked all the Death Shroud skills, I assumed this would help but ??? at a loss here.
