Was playing Planetside 2 beta for a few weeks as I had fond memories of the first.

Currently in work checking for forums for my anticipated comeback to GW2 tomorrow.

I too would like to see this. At the moment if you own three monitors you have an advantage due to the greatly increased FOV. Either more zoom or an FOV slider would be great. (Missis would kill me if i mentioned a third monitor).

Now at 33 members. (Was far more popular than I expected.) The no ranks went better than expected as I was expecting chaos.

My Wife hates the game because I love it.

I also run a GTX 680 and my I5-2500K is @ 4.1Ghz. For the most part I get capped at V-Sync (60fps). Changing zones or joining any kind of huge zerg will drop me to 30fps (V-Sync) and to be honest I expect a drop. This game needs optimising and the drivers probably need improvement but is is by no means unplayable

I too have seen this but only once. 680gtx with latest beta drivers. I thought it was game related rather than driver related to be honest.

I am assuming you mean Paysafecards? I too find this a convenient method of payment as you can easily hide a small cash transaction at your local shop from your partner. With all the current payment methods my wife would be very unhappy with a payment to a game turning up on our bank statement.

I think I remember reading somewhere that cloaks were originally in the game and were removed due to clipping issues. I am also a big fan of the cloaks.

It is slightly annoying after queuing for W3 that you see so many AFK at the starting point. If there is not one already there should be a 5 minute AFK timer before you are kicked from W3.

Also, I know this has been mentioned many times before me but “Darkness Falls”. A similar feature would be fantastic if this could be added in future content for the holder of the majority of the Orbs.

Would add a fantastic motivation for W3.

The standard fan profile on the 8800 and 9800 was rubbish. Go to nvidia control panel and ramp those fans to the point just below offensive (70-100%). 105 degrees is the max safe temp on those cards. You should no longer see temps above 80 degrees.

The whole idea was to take away the grind and replace it with fun. PVP/crafting/100%map/Dungeons/Alts should keep me busy until the first expansion.

I5 2500K will do 4Ghz on a stock cooler and wont even break a sweat. Just over 50 degrees here max.

Confirming that moving it works. Run the installer it will check the files are present and all sorted.

Just remember to unplug all other HDD when installing windows to an SSD.

Happens to me with most patches too. Get to the last few files and it will crawl along or even stop. Restarting the client usually will work as it normally picks up where it left off (albeit a temporary workaround).

Sounds like thermal throttling on CPU or GPU. Have you been using any monitoring software to confirm this?

I get the same thing. I have the ingame sound set very low as I am using voice comms. All of a suddent one particular noise will be played at max volume and destroy my ears. If it is an attacking sound or the sound of an enemy being hit it will repeat as that action is repeated. Moving away from the noise source removes this until you get closer again. I am also using Realtek HD onboard audio and a Logitech headset.

English is not the most spoken language in the world. English is my only language but I have no problem with people speaking whatever language they want.

We have created a new guild. This is a guild that welcomes both active and casual players. There are no requirements or commitments in this guild which will benefit people with limited playtime who still wish to be part of a guild.

There are no ranks in the guild and every member has heightend guild permissions.

We have a Vent server and will shortly be organising PVP and PVE Events for anybody interested. (Focus is on levelling at the moment)
