Blurey, after the game finished downloading I was able to play and am playing right now, so that way of fixing the download actually works. I tried the other way that people posted and it did not work for me that way

If you’re downloading GW2 from scratch and it keeps getting stuck at 0kb/s all you have to do is rename the GW2Setup file to GW2 and that will fix the problem
