I heard that people told rumors which say that the Minion Masters in Guild Wars 2 was pretty weak in the beginning and getting more and more powerful after a couple of long-run patches…
I have hopes that this happens here too…
And also ofc the hope of maybe getting some controls of them like that UI you speak of…
So you mean fighting with self-called allies is more Effectiv as Necromancer with Summons?
So as far as i see… AOE ist the main Problem here!?

It sounds like you found a way to use the Minion Master in an effectiv way, but it also sounds like you say they only viable if you let them Explode if they Die and dont make viable Damage without this :/

Hey fellow Thief mates
I actually look at the idea of playing as Thief with some Summoner similiar Idea in mind.
The idea is to use the Ambush Trap with the Trap cooldown reduction and ofc the Elite Skill Thiefs Guild, to have mostly some Allied Thief´s around for Support.
I would also prefer to use primarily a Dagger/Pistol Combination to hit the Enemy Fast and be able to blind him (or them) often.
Its more an idea of being an Tanky Thief which focus on Vitality and Thoughness to avoid Damage.
I would say that allied thiefs and a Tanky Build are a good Combination, and i bet it could also Work well in Dungeons, because if you can support your allied thiefs you can ofc also support other Players.
Its just an Idea actually but i would gladly here some Opinions about that idea and maybe your experience with that Thief calling Skills.

I still love the idea of being an Summoning Necromancer which
fight with his Minions (or atleast let them fight^^)
Actually they maybe not in the best shape at all, but i saw some videos where they looked not bad, even in Dungeons.
My Problem is that everytime i try to get some feedback by other People Complaining about obv. they are PvP players… feels like 90% of any Posts about Builds and co. (no matter if Positiv or negativ) are circled around PvP.
But i have nearly no interest in PvP and still Focus on PvE.
I also don´t care about the highest DPS and such simplistic cr*p.
I just want to hear some Opinions about the Viability of Minion Master builds in normal Environment and also Dungeons.
