My guess is the way upgrades are applied to accounts. If you really want to go back to before you bought HoT you could ask if an account rollback would fix this issue.

Also if you wanted the ultimate edition why didn’t you just by that?

I didn’t realize that Ultimate Edition was unpurchasable in game, when I noticed my mistake, I contacted support and asked if they would be so kind as to refund the standard and DDU, which they did, allowing me (or so I thought, to proceed with the ultimate edition purchase.

No I didn’t, sorry if TL:DR but I wanted the ultimate edition and the code never worked, no gems, nothing, I’m not the one putting refund requests through all the time, support are just passing the query to payments and refunding it rather than resolving the issue.

Where are you getting that from? I see one purchase of HoT, that didn’t work. So he got a refund and tried it again and it’s still not working.

Thanks Bluestockings, you understand full what I am saying, the team keep palming it off to the payments team, all I want to do is purchase UE and be done with it!

Update your ticket, explain you do not have your beta character slot (I’m guessing you don’t, as you said you weren’t able to participate in the recent beta), and ask them to enable it. From what you have posted, you do have a working Ultimate edition HoT account (title, items, etc. – there is no difference between DDE and Ultimate, other than the Gems which they have refunded you [multiple times?]).

I understand there is no difference, but I do not have a working copy, the game acts like I don’t or I would have been able to participate in the recent Revenant Beta, it has the items and title, but thats it I would not be able to play HoT upon release as my account stands currently I can guarantee you that. They also haven’t refunded the gems several times, every time I attempt to purchase UE it says the codes gone onto my account, but no gems are delivered and no changes happen, it seems to be because of the previous code that was in place, which is what I am trying to get support to help with.

As I mentioned HERE https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/GW2-Tickets-for-Review-3-days-older-1 page 5, I have had no end of bother with Heart of Thorns purchasing, to cut a long story short heres the simple explanation of each part of the issue.

Order Date: 06/29/2015 – Heart of Thorns Standard Edition (via GS ingame)
Order date: 06/29/2015 – 1600 Gems
Order date: 06/29/2015 – 800 Gems
In game upgrade to digital deluxe edition purchased immediately after this.

no further upgrade to ultimate available in game, support contacted, serial code disabled – gems refunded.

2400 gems spent on other items in game thats ok with me.

Order Date: 01.07.2015 – Ultimate Edition purchased via website
Same day, code says its already been applied to my account

support contacted,They advised me & I Quote

“Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your patience while we review your issue.

The initial purchase of the standard edition expansion code was disabled, but the in-game upgrade you purchased added additional features and your account was recognized as having the expansion features. thus, your account is good at this time.

Since you have essentially over pay just for the gems, we are offering you a refund of your Heart of Thorns ultimate purchase so you can purchase (even more) gems with the refunded funds."

serial disabled and back to square one, as this person basically lied to me saying its OK and I don’t need to do anything.

Order Date: 11.07.2015 – Ultimate Edition (Again) because I found I couldn’t use the Revenant Beta (should I have been surprised?)

Again, a massive hassle, no answers and finally they refund the money and disable the serial code.

Now I don’t know what is going on but that’s 1 standard edition, digital deluxe and 2 ultimate codes that have been wasted now, all I wanted was to get the ultimate edition and be done with it.
As of now, the game still recognizes that I own the “Digital Deluxe” upgrade of HoT, yet doesn’t let me participate in any of the betas, it also shows I have the title, the in game items and everything else associated with the DD pack.

Why is it that support can’t alter the account to reset the purchases made, purge the account of all HoT content and allow me to purchase the ultimate edition and finally be able to enjoy the product they have released.

If this isn’t something you can do, I’d love for you guys to look into this as I’m sure other people could fall into this trap.

I just went to Vabbi which had cows, and i could interact with the cowterpult, managed to get my 100% of that area.
