I agree that we need a “last logged in” note, for the same reason as everyone has already stated.
In GW1, the artist would show a watermarked version of the picture and if approved by the buyer, then the game currency would be transferred and the buyer would receive the final copy.
I don’t remember any cases of fraud occurring.
I have retained the defunct email address as a security measure. The company no long exists as an email provider so it’s database cannot be hacked (as happened to Yahoo and AOL this year).
I am moving in a few days to a new apartment. How do I prevent blockage of my account due to the new IP address?
I cannot verify email at the login screen, as I use a defunct email address for my login.
I add my thanks for fulfilling your promises. I’ve been playing GW since Feb 2006 and, along with many, was disappointed when “no further expansions” was announced. But you have once again gone beyond what was expected and given us a fantastic game.
I have convinced my guild members from Rift to buy this game, and they are all greatly impressed. I have been pointing out for the last year how different GW2 would be from any other MMO, and how much they would enjoy it. My guild leader is “in love” with the lack of pressure. She is spending more hours in GW2 than in Rift.
Please, make sure that all the ArenaNet employees and the NCSoft customer support are aware of our appreciation.
ArenaNet stated that if you are having constant problems with email authentication, they would be willing to turn it off for your account. Of couse, this would put your account at higher risk for hacking.
