I second this, ive looked at certain class/Racial elite skills and just thought…. well im trying to play this role and no Elite skill fits it, unless im … race!!!
Which im not T.T but this utility skill would fit the bill.. but its a normal utility so i cant use it
And since i cant change race i guess i will have to start again with a Human instead of an Asura Which once your a high level with 400 in both your crafting abilities is a bit unfair.
Good example:
I want a Condition emitting Elite skill that doesnt change my 1-5 skills (aka a transformation) and im playing Asura Necromancer… a likely situation with builds includeing aoe marks for example.
Nope, sorry, no luck…
I have Radiation Field in Utility but i cant use it, because it is not an elite…
Golems wont help much im support/Condition damage… best i could get is defensive golem but its only good trait is its shield that lasts a few seconds.
I could use Flesh Golem but that wont emit any condition it just helps for a split second and then becomes meat to be eaten by the hord/one person it just knocked over.
Im sure forceing it to be an elite only skill slot helps you with balanceing alot but wouldnt it be better to just force Max 1 elite skill and have those 4 slots as any utility possible???
Making it at least possible to have fun at some annoying lvl 80 situations instead of forceing a single rule that in reality underpowers some playstyles (Condition damage/Support in the above example) that on another race could be played better because of it…
Wasnt that the point of making all Classes able to play all playstyles???
It seems you have made variety possible and then taken it away for balanceing reasons that would just require a bit more tuneing when it comes to skill choice. (i do understand the one healing skill slot though, that makes sence and doesnt really need changeing)
The community can handle a lack of skills, but stopping us from useing the skills you give us by limiting it even more is a bit unfair.
Especially when you say your going to make every playstlye possible for any class then make it better or worse via Racial Skills which require us to remake the character from scratch.
A seconds option is to make sure every class/Race has an elite ability to fit every playstyle (which is what you would expect to begin with considering the idea to make all playstyles playable in any class)
But that seems like alot harder to balance and alot more work on your end, your choice.
well thats my 2 cents… ended up as a full dollar, sorry about that XD.
