Guild Wars 2

I used to play gw2 for more than 2 years without a problem , but 5 days ago this error started to appear , i couldn’t fix it till now and i can’t play .

I dunno what is causing the problem , since it’s related to " connectivity " , I reset the modem , add ports changed w10 to w7 , nothing seem to fix .

I’ve tried to use my phone to connect , then boom i played without a single problem , at this point i thought my adsl is the problem , however after 3 days the error show up while using my phone connection , i was really sad , both connections are dead now.

there is one thing i didn’t try , delete guild wars folder all together then download it on a fresh system , repairing old files didn’t work , i may try this before giving up .

Update ..

I tried to connect the game today with a USB flash modem , The connection was really smooth and without a single error , It’s my ADSL that cause the problem , Funny thing is that if i open the game & leave it couple of minutes on the back-ground the error won’t show up .

I wish i could be lucky soon to figure this out , so i can help those who got the same error .

update ..

I managed to play in X map if i log in then leave the game running in the back ground for awhile then get back to it , sometimes it working sometimes i have to do it many times .

If i teleport to another map the error shows up .

Today i was able to play in a map , when i teleported to another the error came again , Its weird that everything seems fine and perfect .

Any advice ? I can’t play

I feel bad for you , but things like this are easy to fix ..

Don’t wait help from others , you’ve to do it yourself , start with installing fresh copy or alternative copy / dual system – if you run w7 then install 10 – install win then update it to max then run the game and see if problem still there , then you can try to upgrade bios of MB and Video card – if not you can take your case to the place you bought it from and they will try other hardware with your case .

I can log in , on characters screen it never disconnect , Only when i press play , No matter which character the disconnect just happens , Tried changing ports and read topics here but problem persists .

I’ve even installed another copy of windows to try guild wars without any other program , problem still there , So i’m outta option here guys.

Unplayable , Error started 5 days ago and it keeps on appearing a lot , I’ve tried everything you mentioned before and nothing working .

You’ve missed the point, GW2 economy is dying day after day , everything is old & outdated , It needs a push up , it’s the right time to do so.

some people will disagree with OP no matter what he writes , Will also put a lot of time to prove him wrong , Does it really feel good ?

I’m trying to get the developers attention towards the trade post , prices are getting down every day , no activity no one buys , everyone bought what he wants long time ago , It’s in bad shape and soon without a solution , the economy will be dead .

It’s very clear that prices are going crazy down , And i think the reason is " Activity " , Too many players quit and wait for more real content , Others got everything they need and supply only .

Suggestion : Creating new armor / weapon / items / cool stuff recipes that require too many materials to make , This will raise activity a bit .

like adding new items that require more globs of ectoplasm ( globs are very cheap by now ) .

Open up some new vendors for extremely rare items that require loads of materials to make / buy .

armor / weapons looks should be available to buy through rare materials , not only tickets .

While i’m not very convinced with those suggestions , The real fix is to push 10 / 5 more levels with new armor and materials to fresh the economy , every single online game does that , it helps the game survive more and more

I think now is the time , Time to bring back players .

What bother me much is those who don’t look at the price and just list items .

V Poor support , I thought this could be interesting .

I’ve tried to search about this problem but i couldn’t find an answer , however This happens only with guild wars 2 , Which is so weird .

The game starts only with 1 card , Then after I alt tab to desktop and back in game , my fps is doubled and nvidia green bar goes full again .
