I’ve asked this on the thief forum and I’ll ask it here as well. My 80 ranger is weak and boring. I constantly die now and it takes awhile to take down enemies. I like ranged combat and am now looking at starting a warrior of a thief and using them exclusively for ranged combat.
Is a ranged rifle/bow warrior viable for wvwvw and pve or is the class really designed for melle combat and ranged combat is just there for filler. I just created a warrior a few days ago and they seem very durable and the ranged bow/rifle dps seems very powerful, a lot more than my ranger, but hes only level 10 now. Will the dps remain while I level or does it slowly taper off as I get higher levels?
What are everyones thoughts on this?
Is a ranged Thief build viable for pve and wvwvw? I have an 80 ranger, but am feeling underwhelmed by the damage output. Is it possible to play a thief or warrior as a ranger? I just want to sit back and pew-pew and have enemies die around me with the least amount of concern for dodging and kiting lol.
20-30 fps (playable, but this machine can deliver better performance that that)
