Judging by the majority of the posts here, it would be to my understanding that either A). those parameters are far too board
B). the “parameters” really are nothing more then a random scan regardless of what arenanet wants to tell us and the system is either poorly coded or broken.

In either sense, the point remains the same. People days after the initial incident are still being banned which means nothing is being done to remedy the initial cause, and it saddens me to say, but it looks like there are going to be a lot more bans before anything is actually done.

I have to admit I’m a little worried about what’s to come. I too was also falsely accused and was hit by the bot ban wave on Saturday (11/10). I worries me to see that just a few hours ago days later people are still getting banned. Who’s to know that this sort of thing won’t happen again once we get our accounts back. I was thinking of buying some gems from the GW2 store but now have some serious doubts and don’t really feel secure / safe giving ArenaNet anymore of my hard earned money.

3 days now since I was falsely accused of botting and my account banned. Getting frustrated from the lack of response and seeing that even more people to this day are experiencing the same issue 3 days later. I hoping to get a response relatively soon and assured that this type of incident won’t happen again.
