No. This is just you creating a story. Anet introduced blood lust because they wanted to introduce blood lust. It’s not hard to comprehend.

I’ll give you half points for that.

They are pushing sPvP as their main competitive game mode though, which is a mistake. So there might be more truth to that than you would assume.

WvW has the potential to be out-kitten-standing. It’s just sad to see the devs flail around making completely irrelevant and game-beraking updates like this.

I came into this thread to make a pleasant remark about how nice it is to have this match up again but what do I find? TC trolls using some noob on our server deciding to drop a treb in our spawn as a representation of our server as a whole.

HOPE really is a great environment for people who are looking to maximize their WvW experience. Having been a part of that zerging blob WvW style before I can’t express how refreshing it is to be part of a group that favors skill over numbers. There is constant banter about builds, strategy, group composition and so on all of which combines to make a community that fosters significant growth in both group cohesion and individual member skill.

I’ve been in many guilds since I started playing MMOs what now seems like an age ago, and I have to honestly say that HOPE is a contender for being the best guild I’ve been a part of. It’s rare to find a large community of highly skilled individuals who not only don’t have any ego issues but also enjoy taking their time to help out other members and playing an active role in the guild community. On top of that, and this is the most important thing for me, everyone in guild truly enjoys playing the game. Rather than idly sitting around Lion’s Arch all day everyone is out and about taking advantage of everything that the game has to offer.

No matter what your preferred type of gameplay is (WvW, PvE, PvP or all of the above) you will definitely be able to get a lot out of HOPE.

Guardian Trait 'Renewed Justice' Bug

I am reporting (what I believe to be) a bug with the trait “Renewed Justice” not properly refreshing Virtue of Justice (VoJ) while engaging enemies in a group.

I have been experiencing this bug since before the latest update so it’s not something that changed recently to cause the problem.

Whenever I’ve been fighting multiple enemies, VoJ doesn’t renew when one of the enemies dies but rather when all enemies currently engaged in combat with you die. I have not had a single issue with Renewed Justice not working properly when fighting a single enemy, the enemy dies and VoJ is renewed without any issue, so from my experience it is specific only to fighting groups of enemies.

The tooltip suggests that it will renew whenever any enemy dies rather than when all of your current combat targets die.

Ignoring the one exception I mentioned above, I have yet to face enemies in a group and have renewed justice work when one of the enemies in the group dies so either its a bug with a 100% repro rate or it’s a case of a tooltip that doesn’t properly explain the function of the trait.


And to finish off, here’s a few bullet points to clarify a few potential questions that may come up:

- Guardian is currently level 62 (30 trait points in radiance, 20 in honor)

- I have not selected any major traits that modify VoJ in any way

- Size of the group has no effect on the issue, as long as there is more than one enemy, VoJ won’t refresh until all are dead.

- Whether or not you trigger VoJ before or after entering combat with the group of enemies also makes no difference, it still doesn’t refresh.

- It is not zone specific or enemy-type specific

- Having a party member engaged in combat with the same group does not make a difference either way, and the same is true for a non-party member engaged in combat with the group.

- (Not tested enough to be able to label as 100% valid) The only possible exception I could find is: If you are in combat with an enemy and another joins the fray and begins attacking you VoJ IS refreshed properly if you kill the ORIGINAL enemy first, but not if the new enemy dies first.
