Guild Wars 2

Hey,

Recently I decided to reformat my laptop and had to reinstall GW2 however when attempting to log in to download the game client via both disc and logging into the Guild Wars website to get the online installer I have been unable to log in to begin downloading game files.

The program opens fine and downloads the 10mb log in screen upon which I input my username and password and press log in, after which it seems to be endlessly stuck attempting to log in. No error code is given as far as I know.

I’ve been trying to install the program as an administrator and have given it firewall access as well as turned off my antivirus while it attempted to log in to see if any of those were causing the error, to which nothing has helped.

System Specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 CPU M 480 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
Ram: 2048MB RAM
Card name: AMD Radeon HD 6370M
Hard Drives: Over 300gb of free space

Currently out of ideas of what it could be and Google can’t seem to find anyone who has had the same problem so I’m hoping here might be able to help.
