I am trying to find a second VIper Accessory. I already have a Sparking Petrified Wood Accessory.
Thank you very much
I have heard several players say that Metabattle is god when it comes to builds but I like to create my own builds but in order to do that i need to have an understanding of how points into each stats are effected. .
For Example:
Every X number of Condi Damage increase the damage dealt by Y amount.
I also need to know at want point do you get diminishing returns.
For Example:
After Z amount of Condi Damage you only get A increase in damage instead of Y increase for every X number increase.
Is there a link anywhere i can look into this or does anyone know these number from experimenting yourself.
Thanks for the help in advanced.

My main character, Evaa the Pyro, is an engineer. I choose to buy this game and choose this profession because of the engineer’s ability to use turrets. I have been playing the game for more than a year now. Since starting, I noticed that the turrets seemed to be lacking but I held in there because of my love for them. However, when I got into HOT and now started preparing for the raids; I am starting to see just how useless the turrets really are. I have done some research and noticed that there are NO current Engi build what so ever that uses turrets. Which surprises me immensely, that Anet has useless character ability.
Upon digging deeper I find out they have been nerfed and that the community sees them as nothing. I found that Anet made this move because of “Balance” in PVP. This is especially unfair now since Necro’s Pets got a boost not too long ago. I understand the need for balance but driving something that is part of the game into the ground does not favor balance, nor does making something godly (I am not asking for godly turrets).
Simply I want Anet to make turrets relevant again; nothing more nothing less. By relevant turrets, and pets for that matter, need to hold their basic purpose in life. This purpose being to act as a force multiplier for the player. This is accomplished in one of three ways, Agroing the enemy, neutralizing the enemy, or by increasing the player’s combat effectiveness.
Below are some of my ideas on how to bring the turrets back into relevance.
Thumper Turret: This turret should be used to agro, as well as take a beating so keep the mobs away from the player
**Suggested Stats to change: (% of the player’s current stats equipment buffs included)
10 to 25% Damage
150 to 200% Toughness (Enough to Agro the Enemy form the player)
150 to 200% Vitality
Flame Turret: Same purpose as the Thumper but with more damage and less survivability
**Suggested Stats to change: (% of the player’s current stats equipment buffs included)
15 to 23% Damage
110 to 125% Toughness (Enough to Agro the Enemy form the player)
110 to 125% Vitality
Rifle Turret: Should be used to neutralize the enemy
**Suggested Stats to change: (% of the player’s current stats equipment buffs included)
100 to 150% Damage
50 to 75% Toughness
50 to 75% Vitality
Rocket Turret: This Turret should be a glass cannon
**Suggested Stats to change: (% of the player’s current stats equipment buffs included)
150 to 200% Damage
25 to 50% Toughness
25 to 50% Vitality
Healing turret and Net turrets: I this this are good save the general improvements I will make.
General Improvements:
—Recharge time improvements: My reasoning for this is that unlike pets, turrets are incapable of moving so there for should be able to be spawned faster.
Suggested Change (Percent of Current Recharge time)
Turret Die’s or times out 80 to 90%
Turret get picked up by player 50 to 75%
Turret is detonated 100 to 110%
An alternative would be to add a skill that ports the turrets to the player
—Remove AOE from turrets or reduce the damage to turrets form AOE attacks
The Supply box:
I would suggest adding one of each turret to the box or adding the rifle turret to the mix at the very least. This box should be an alternative to using your entire utility bar for turrets. To balance this, I would suggest making the turrets for the box or “Box” Turrets 30% give or take less effective and the take partial damage when deployed. This should add more balance to the box and add some realism to the skill.
I hope you find this suggest useful and I look forward to being able to use my turrets again.
Because you can only equip 1 ascended accessory/ring with the same name. Changing the stats doesn’t change the name. You can infuse or attune one and equip 2 that way, as long as they both don’t share the same name.
Thanks, I didn’t know that. A stupid rule if you ask me with Viper trinkets being so tough to get.
I have been farming Bloodstone Fen long enough to buy two rings. I selected Viper Stats for one and Sinister Stats for the other.
However, I can only equip one at a time. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is or how to fix it.
