Completed our tier 1 and tier 2 bounty guild missions on first attempts last night. Now lets get some more recruits in so we can get that tier 3 done as well!

Purge sounds like a similar guild to yourselves only we have continued to thrive. We arent a huge guild and our members would not want it to become that way. We have however, just reopened our doors to recruitment because although we have started the Guild Bounty Missions and are unlocking other missions currently, we now feel we need to become a medium sized guild to further progress with most of the missions.

Who are Purge?

Purge are a mature 18+ European PvE Guild Wars 2 guild. We are PvE focused and have started our Guild Bounty Missions with further unlocks underway, we have completed all paths of all dungeons and still run them all regularly. We do also take part in PvP/WvW, however this is much less of a focus for us.

Our current crop of Officers have successfully managed guilds over many years and have been consistently progressive and in some cases achieved realm firsts, yet still managed to blend this with a touch of the social side to make it a place where you want to log in to be with your guildies, rather than only logging on to do dungeons.

What can Purge offer you?

We offer a place to have fun, relax and have a laugh with your guildies after a hard day of doing family/work related things. A dedicated Mumble server, full forum access as well as a well run guild with little or no emo’ishness. Support leveling your character, finding groups for dungeons, crafting and traits, forming WvW groups, PvP and anything else that you can put your finger on.

Excellent group leaders, fellow guildies who know and research their class, progression through all PvE content and most of all…. FUN!!! :p

A guild who understands the pressures of real life and will support you accordingly. Most of us have jobs, partner and kids and some pretty major responsibilities and as such we appreciate that others will have these things too. Because of that all guild organised PvE related content will start a little later than the norm, from 8pm to 11pm GMT. This gives everyone ample time to sort out real life stuff before your virtual one starts.

What are Purge after?

Preferably you will be all of the following:

Social – We require you to log on to Mumble and be part of the guild. We may be a semi hardcore guild, but this doesn’t mean we only log on to do Dungeons etc… when just hanging about doing not much we like to have a laugh on Mumble and as such will require you to do the same. So if you aren’t up for being part of the guild in and out side of dungeons etc then this guild may not be the place for you.

Professional – We all love a laugh and a joke on Mumble, where quite frankly almost anything goes, but we ask that all our members are professional and represent the guild in the right way at all times.

Active – Semi, if not fully addicted players are extremely welcome. We would like to think you will log on to do dungeons with us and more. Remember, the more you put in, the more you will get out of it. Members will find events running every night of the week. Mumble is a powerful tool as it’s a great and extremely easy way to organise things as a guild. We have guild forums so you can communicate outside of the game, but the majority of our communication takes place in game – if you don’t speak up then we won’t be able to hear you. The core of this guild will be online mostly every night throughout the week and weekends- but that does not mean you are required to do the same.

Reliable – If you say you can do a dungeon then be there to do it. If you can’t then let us know. Be an adult about such things and treat us as you would someone you know in real life and who you hopefully have a decent level of respect for and all things will work out well for you and us.

Care Bear Free – We don’t require any people who want constant cuddling or for the guild to revolve around them and them alone. We are an easy going bunch and as such would like to keep it that way so the least amount of Emo’ishness in you as possible please.

Knowledge – Don’t get me wrong, we aren’t asking everyone to know everything about every class, profession, boss drop… however we expect you to know about your class and to continue learning throughout your time within this guild. We want people who don’t need to be told what a spell does, because hopefully you have used/tried it/researched it.

I am also getting this with what appears to be increasing frequency. I cant seem to attribute it to any in game actions Im performing as I have had it while afk in LA (and other zones), whilst actively fighting in cursed shore and dungeons and also striaght from the character selection screen. It has only happened since the last patch was implemented.

I was also wondering if its someone trying to brute force my password since ANet easily gives everyone access to my username on these forums and in game.

Any sort of response as to why this is may be happening would be appreciated.

Exactly the same, just stuck at spinning loading wheel Hoelbrak on Desolation Server (until I get a time-out error)
