Took me alot of time to get up with a good look for my charr engineer, but ultimately made it, and i’m quite happy with the result…
And know what you’ll say: trenchcoat (can hardly find anything thats not one, lets be honest, poor charrs don’t have much to say when it comes to medium armors)…
But look! No tail clipping!
And yes, this is a pop gun.

Included no-backpack version.

Gas Mask helmet (living story Season 1/laurel vendor)
Rubicon Shoulderpads (karma/fractals)
Forgeman Jacket (Sorrow’s Embrace dungeon medium armor)
Fused Gauntlets (medium version; living story season 1/laurel vendor)
Studded Pants (cheap on TP, personal story, crafting?)
Forgeman Boots (Sorrow’s Embrace dungeon medium armor)

Note that forgeman gloves, rubicon gloves or sneakthief gloves fit quite nicely too.

For a very, very (too) long time i’ve been running around with ragtag gear on my engineer, quite not having any set build, just using whatever i had at the moment… After having my kitten kicked here and there a couple of times (Queen’s gauntlet been pretty kitten me, made it to the next to last boss, but can’t do squat on it) i decided its time to finally get some correct stuff and a build that got some synergies…

And well, looked a bit here and there (especially under the angle of that queen’s gauntlet i’ve been stuck on, that might have been a mistake) and ended up assembling a full precision/toughness/condition damage build… that ended up being a huge disapointment… its not really working… can’t pull out those giant conditions i’ve been dreming about for a long time, and without the power i used to have the damage output itself isn’t good either. So, i guess i’m doing something wrong, but can’t figure what… TBH i’m quite lost about what i should be doing now, so i hope you guys can help me out (the fact i just came back to GW after over 6 month of break doesn’t help either) so, my questions now:

-A strong meta/mainstream Condition damage build… not sure what i should be using on it anymore (P/P?), so won’t tell any specifications i want…
-Some strong straight on damage (power based build/berserker)?
-Are those build even vaible now? What’s good on engie? Any good up-to-date engie building giude around?
-Heard alot about those static discharge builds, but can’t figure to find an up-to-date one that actually guiving advice about building…
-Grenades?
-Flamethower…. used to like this stuff on my somehwat power-based engie… thats any usefull?
I’m looking for build both for WvW and PvE (all there is in PvE kinda – bosses, dungs, living world related stuff etc…)
Was never able to stand my ground in WvW tbh

Please, i need some help getting my engie facts straight, cause apparently i got a too big mix of good and outdated data.
And i’m a bit mad at that stupid rabid stuff not really “working”

And yeah, abaddon’s mouth works.

Same, none of the Wayfarere Foothills misterious devices is apearing. My friend got this problem too. Got all of those in Diessa Plateau.

@Syberius – I got a GW1 account with prophecies, faction, nightfall AND eye of the north, linked with my GW2 account.
The problem is that even though its linked with my GW2 account, it don’t shows corectly the fact its linked. Got no achivement related to my 16 (or so) points, nor the stone, nor the items.

@Necrid, thanks, i’ll go check in the hall itself if i can do something from there. If not i’ll send (another) ticket to the support.

So, i remembered yesterday that there was a thing like the “hall of monuments”, and that i still didn’t received the rewards for linking my accounts (that are corectly linked since teh day after the release, i double checked).

While the ammount of points i got may not be amazing, i’d like to get the rewards anyway.
