A good ele will not run staff in dungeons? Is that a serious comment? Lol A LOT of ele’s bring it in, thats like saying a mesmer will never run staff, all guardians will run hammer, all warriors will spam GS #2….. Come on.

No no not at all, I mean I tried them both and it just doesn’t really hold my interest I guess, I like the caster aspect lol just a little crazy I guess

Hey everyone!

I have this constant issue of debating which to pick, I’ve done map completion on both but there’s been so many changes I’m kind of confused.. I do a lot of dungeons was debating branching to fractals more I usually just did the 10’s and that was it.

So basically I’m having a bit of trouble deciding between necro and STAFF ele (I run the healing build which is alright I guess but disappointing numbers wise compared to necro )

( I dont like the D/D or the S/D I’m not a single target kind of person)

I run a power necro because of the mass aoe, I know the ele offers aoe too but I am a heck of a lot squisher which obviously takes adjusting. But I haven’t seen that many ele’s around where as I used to seem them ALL the time LA used to be flooded with them.

So basically my question is which would be best for general pve and dungeon runs,
STAFF ele or Power Necro?

If you have any pro’s and con’s by all means throw them out there :P

Hi guys!

I did some asking around in game….well ok a lot of asking around and it seems that the ele prof has died, at least in the staff aspect.

I always liked the staff on the ele and ran it on mine, I became frustrated with the lack of builds and squishiness but refused to give into the D/D or S/D phase as I believe in the staff haha.

So my question is, are staff ele’s still viable primarily for dungeons?

Hi there!

I was just wondering if there is a viable staff build that mesmers could run in dungeon. Staff has always been my favorite weapon on just in general because of the looks, ( and Ya ya I know its not what its about buts its my choice I guess) although the mesmer skills are prime I must admit .

I run a lot of dungeons and I did test out the condition and actually got some ascended pieces a little head of the game because as it turns out in wvw is awesome as a condition weapons. I feel as though the damage numbers are too low and feel kind of useless in regular pve encounters.

Let me know what you guys think I appreciate the help!
( Ideally I’d like to use bifrost is why)

To complete my daily’s my top 2 sections of the day like Healer or Veteran killer don’t show progress made and often I don’t get the daily reward sometimes I do sometimes I don’t its bugged and I would really like it fixed since that’s how you acquire Laurels

Anyone else have this issue?
