I like both a lot, however, I would have to say I lean more to the necro. Although I hate the minion AI and lack of minion options, the necro is in my opinion much easier to solo with. Especially when fighting groups or when extra mobs come along, I really enjoy my staff AOE build on my necro.

Yes, it might take a while, but trust me, only way if your server is losing (from 21/24 server; GoM for ya)

I don’t believe they changed sides this last time it reset.

Heck, I’d even be Ok with them making you go to WvW, but have the POI and Vistas located in areas that you can get to without taking certain points. I think I have 13/16 POIs on each location and 7/10 Vistas. Making them be acquirable by walking up to the castles/towers would be much better.

I agree, having WvW as part of the map completion is just dumb and annoying. The map completion is a personal achievement, it’s not a pvp achievement or a WvW achievement, so having it require pvping in WvW to get the completion is illogical.

I enjoy WvW, but I can understand that a lot of players may not. I’d be fine with what the above poster suggested, making the POI & Vistas accessible without taking certain points, that would make them again being a personal achievement…albeit in a very hostile environment to those who enjoy strictly pve.

Just waited 1 1/2 hours for the Maw to start up, don’t like that one bit. The “boss” dies in 15-30 seconds and it’s over. I agree with everyone else that’s saying it’s not fun. THAT IS NOT WORTH WAITING FOR! It’s not worth scheduling time to go do it. It needs to be a better/more engaging fight, as it is right now there’s really no point to the chest. Heck at this point I’d rather drop the chest down to a lower quality chest and make the event a shorter timer rather than the way it is now.
