I never complain. I take what I’m lucky enough to get and make myself appreciate it. Look at my post history. It’s not what I do. But I am so frustrated and kitten off right now, here I go. I just need to vent. I’m sure this will just be locked and/or deleted but whatever.
My meter has been slowly filling with red. All the bugs and things. But once again, I just try to enjoy the game best I can and keep my cool. I’ve been getting a bit bored but I just tell myself, “Give it time, they will bring new content and this game will be very fun like when it was first released.”
I just hit the boiling point.
I was in Arah, path 1. The entire group is new to path 1 so it’s going about as smoothly as a 4 sided wheel. But the players are good.. So even though the mobs are hitting way too hard, the dumb mechanics like LITERALLY CONSTANT aoe from not 1 but 2 oozes that split from a boss that cannot be avoided bc of not near enough endurance and how hard it hits, and things like as soon as leaving stealth every mob sticking to me like flies on crap bc i THOUGHT that high toughness would be useful (wrong)…. We are still dragging through this thing.
We get to the giant tar boss. The Legendary Shoggwhatever thing. Yea.. The thing that spawns unlimited tar elementals that shoot tar from ranged that can’t be avoided bc of not near enough endurance. The thing with a HUGE aggro radius that can perma stun you until you’re dead.. We finally figure out that it needs to burn to die. We get fire on it and burn it down..
1% left and…. LOADING SCREEN? WTF?
Yea ported out of the instance for no reason. Spend the next hr trying to get back in but nope… Game bugged.. Can’t join the 2 ppl that didn’t get kicked. It’s putting the 3 that got kicked into a separate instance.
End up giving up.. All the dying and repair bills. The sheer frustration.
all for nothing.
So here I am. Logged out. Don’t know if I’ll be able to bring myself to log back in today.
PLEASE FIX YOUR GAME. I came here from WoW since 2006. I do not want to go back but gaming is my thing. If this game continues to disappoint me, I’ll have to leave it in the dust.

I’m running with 3 Superior rune of the afflicted and 3 superior rune of the krait. This is on my PvE gear.
The bonuses highlighted when I mouse over my gear are 6/6 afflicted and 6/6 krait.
Basically all of them are highlighted like they are active.
What’s going on here? Anyone?
I’m available now and should be the rest of the day when you want to shoot me a line.

I 100% agree that they need to implement this.
I have been a hardcore PvE’er for about 4 years now. Raided all the top content in WoW with top guilds. Never had any interest in doing anything else in that game. I would raid on raid nights and just not play any other time.
There are several things to do in GW2 and I enjoy them but I want to spam explorable dungeons and can’t. Finding a group is bad enough then you have the likely event that the run will fail because of the difficulty. If just one of these was alleviated, it would make my personal experience and probably many others so much better. Just add an LFG que.
Even now I’m not logged in playing because I don’t really feel like PvP. I would like to run some dungeons but I know that I will probably spend about 2 hours and some gold porting around and looking for a group and then that group will probably fail. No thanks, I’ll just hang out on the forum and maybe do some other things tonight instead of play until I feel like doing more PvP.
See where this is going? I know I’m not the only one.
