Yes, I found some on my computer? Why? What is it? Do I delete all of it?

Hey guys, I’m having this incredibly frustrating problem happen, whenever i try to update Guild Wars 2. Whenever it tries to update, it just crashes at around 2-3%, it almost never goes past that. I’ve tried disabling my Firewall. I’ve tried deleting the BIN folder and reinstalling. I’ve deleted all the files, and tried reinstalling the game in its entirety. Nothing works. It always says something like “A very serious error occurred”. And it just crashes.

I’ve had this problem for a while, and just never bothered to actually find a solution. Does anyone know a fix for it at all?

Okay, so I’m really dumb when it comes to computers, and I bought an XFX Radeon HD 6770 Core Edition, and bought a Corsair CX600M Power Supply to support it. I installed everything, and it’s making really loud noises like it’s having an extremely hard time keeping the computer cool. Is this normal? Any help would be much appreciated.

Whenever I log-in to Guild Wars 2, my computer automatically restarts. But it’s fine whenever I’m doing anything else.

Really? Because my current graphics card is a Radeon HD 6720G2, and I run GW2 at around 30 FPS in light areas, and 15-20 FPS in cities. And I read somewhere that my current GPU is a lot worse than the GT 640. 54% proportionally worse. I looked at the rig’s performance on a “can you run it” thing, and it said it would run the game at 82 FPS with the i5 3450 I’m planning on buying. I was wondering if any of these things are true. Pardon me if it seems like I don’t know what I’m talking about because I really don’t.

Would an NVIDIA GT 640 G5 w/ 2GB video memory work for this game? And at what estimated framerate would it give me on different settings? Thanks in advance.

I queued my architecture level 2 yesterday for my guild, and now it’s gone, along with the Influence points I used for it. I was wondering if I could get reimbursed for said points, or if my queue will start up again soon.

Hmmm…how will a Radeon HD 7570 do for this game?…(Same processor) I’ll eventually upgrade, I just need something that’ll keep the game running decent at medium settings for now. (Sorry for the trouble, I don’t know how those scores scale)

I’m getting a new computer for this game, and I was wondering how well this computer would perform for Guild Wars 2.

Processor: Intel® 3rd Generation Core™ i7 3.4GHz (3.9GHz with Turbo Boost)

System Memory (RAM): 8GB

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GT 520 2GB Memory.

I’m not very computer savvy at all, and I just wanna know the approx. FPS this will get me on…medium or high? Any help would be much appreciated.

My current computer’s specs are:

Processor: AMD A6-3400M APU with Radeon™ graphics (4 CPUs) ~1.4GHz
Memory: 4096 RAM
Graphics card: Radeon HD 6720G2 (but for some reason in dxdiag lists it as Radeon HD 6520G)

I’m not very tech savvy at all. And I was wondering if running Guild Wars 2 at 15-20 FPS on low is normal for this kind of computer, or if there’s something that I can do to maximize performance. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you in advance. (It also drops to around 10 FPS when there’s activity.)

I’m not sure where I should be posting this, but I’m going to be buying a new computer in a few weeks when I have the money, and I was wondering if this computer would suffice for Guild Wars 2, and how well would it run.
