This started happening to me as well, I use win7. Alt tabbing became dangerous… I now use windows fullscreen… :-/
Did the problem just pop up for you recently too?? This never happened to me until maybe about a month or 2 ago and seems to happen about every other day
My gpu doesn’t have any anti aliasing settings. I do always have it turned off in game though as i’ve seen problems when I have it on in other games.
I also do not have any programs like fraps running.
I have noticed this issue has been popping up frequently when I open the black lion trading post. Not sure if that window does something special that the others dont?
I keep getting a bug every once in a while on windows 8 in full screen where my screen will turn all black. I am still able to walk around and talk but I can’t see anything.
If I Alt+tab away from guild wars then come back to it the screen will revert but then any mouse click will trigger the screen to go all black. After the screen turns black, if I switch to windowed mode the problem goes away compeltly and I can once again click without it triggering my screen to turn black. Any idea whats up?
I’m running with the intel integrated 4000 gpu. Issue happens regardless of my graphics quality settings in game.
Anyone know any good non farming servers? It seems that’s all most people do. I work 5:30am to 7:30p so I don’t get much time to play. Usually I only get to do 1 run (if any at all) but I’ve never come close to successfully completing it. I always find myself alone trying to close portals. I’ve tried focusing on portals near waypoints so I can keep running back but just takes wayyy to long
Or… would anyone be interested in hosting an event on a less populated server so we can get our achievements??
AFAIK Anet does ban for this. Our server (Sea of Sorrows) has been siege capped multiple times over the past few weeks because of someone placing siege all over the keep. Getting really annoying and its sad that this still happens in such a ‘low’ tier match…
My guild has a use case where we’d like to allow members to recruit new players for our default permissions but not have the ability to remove others in their same rank. I think it’d be nice if we had to ability to selectively set which ranks are capable of either adding, demoting, or kicking players of lower ranks rather than bundling them all into a single permissions group.
It seems this change would be pretty seamless. All existing functionality would still be present.
I completly agree with your suggestion. My commute and actual work hours span from 6:00am to 7:30pm. I find my self on the week days logging on then powering through the dailies as quickly as possible before logging off and getting some sleep for my rl.
It’d be nice to be able to get these dailies more casually rather than racing to finish them as quickly as possible. I could also just stop doing dailies on the weekdays but i’d like to get some of the new gear sometime this year.
