Note to the OP and several other posters – it makes no difference coming back in a few levels – as soon as you enter the instance, you are ‘levelled down’ to 28 (look in the bottom left corner of your screen).
That is not true. If you come back later you can have more trait choices and elite skill choices.
Yes, you’re right on that point. But your HP and AP are scaled down to a level 28 point, even if you’re at lvl 40 when entering the instance. That the point I was trying to make – there are plenty of people who assume that at level 40 they will walk this quest.

After trying (and failed) the 28 AC dungeon, I realise thay you’re nor meant to solo it but to group up. Fine – but there’s no LFG tool, and noone in group chat is replying to my LFG spam, so…what to I do now?

I know I’m a bit of a noob but…where does the ‘Ascalonian Catacombs’ name come from? My map says it’s called ‘Provernic Crypt’? North-north east of Ascalon, yeah?
