Guild Wars 2

Before you fell in love with a ranger, try a warrior with a rifle/bow. Or try both and engineer and a thief with pistols before you take the final descision. My main is a ranger of 40 lvl and i gave all myself to him. I’ve gone not so far but even now it’s painful to change my main. Just try all other rangers and only then choose. GL bro

I think i’ll take 80 with my ranger and if nothing changes leave the game. The reason i don’t play alts is that i give too much love to my main who turned out to be a ranger. The map is opened, craft is lvled, screenshots of first visited beautiful places made, first impressions of the game receieved… i could continue and this is all about my ranger.

I prefer to play a game with a class i like hoping that the devs support this class with balance and fun. In GW2 i like rangers but i don’t like the devs’ part about balance and fun – none of it.

Don’t feel any other class. Tried a warrior, didn’t make myself play it after lvl 2. Same with thief – it’s just not my style. Elems, necros, mesmers belong to magic kind – hate it. What’s left? Engineer with 3 weapons – didn’t like it at all with all these boom/explode shi*. So, i just don’t know what to do. Probably i should try a guardian but i don’t think i can play a melee class with pleasure.

Why did you create such a weak and boring ranger, Anet? Warriors by definition can’t be better rangers! Wtf?

I just have to say that as a Guardian/ Thief user, I’m sorry rangers. I really hope they fix your weapons so they are actually good. I made a ranger and soon deleted it once I played with the weapons, which were all boring (it’s like they rushed making this class and didn’t think things through). I hope patches soon will make you a more viable class

:)))))))) You know, in every mmo it’s all the same about rangers. I loled reading this again. I’m a new ranger here and people are again sorry about our condition. I’ve heard the same in WoW from DKs, rogues and warriors when i was a hunter. In swtor from Marauders, assasins and opers playing a commando. And now i hear it again here in GW2 – nice. It’s so funny that rangers in most mmos sux. Seems it’s time to roll in melee classes and revange for all the pain

I’m new here and my ranger is about lvl 40 only. I’m an experienced mmo ranger and i know what a ranger must be able for. In the beginning my g-mates told me that each class is balanced here and i can start any prof i want. So i chose my ranger. On spvp i noticed that my bows don’t make me feel satisfied no matter what build i apply. Later I started a warrior, then a guardian, then all the rest just to check their skills and the possible way of playing in spvp/wvw and pve.

They are all great! Only a guardian seemed a bit boring. Today on spvp i dueled with a mesmer – THAT’s what i call unique! Then i fought with a thief – daaaamn, he was stealthing from time to time hiting me in my back and disappearing again. – that’s pretty cool style. I wish i like melee classes and play them, but i don’t.
Other profs are just fine they are doing what they are supposed to and do it really well. Elems burn, necros use lots of pets, warrs smash, engins explode…etc. I wish i could say, im a ranger and i deal great damage at distance with my bows, or eat my foes’ faces with my pet in BM build or DOT them to death with condition build etc , but i can’t. I’m a ranger who has to fight with a sword and torch coz they hit much harder! WHY??? I’m a RANGER, am i? I don’t want to play a warrior with the rifle. I don’t want to play magic style rangers. I want to be a classical archer with the bows!

LB is really a joke coz of its speed and poor damage. SB is nerfed and its dots work only at flang and back (why btw?, one’s a** hates poison more then the face?)
I left swtor because my commando was a piece of shi* in pvp. I left wow long ago coz of stupid melee zone (won’t back to pandas don’t suggest). I left many mmos because my favourite ranger class was poorly designed or i had to play someone else.

Is there a build for LB/SB? Or i should take a giant Greatsword with my RANGER to be more or less useful? /facepalm
My guildies told me yesterday i should try a guardian, he’s much better for the guild than a ranger /crying face.
