yeah i just updated all my drivers going through windows update, to be honest its been a bit of a hectic day so maybe it’s just me overlooking something thanks for the info and i’ll get back in touch and let you know how it goes. and i bought the alienware just because its compact and i dont have an airfied to set my rigging up in lol so i went for space accomodating rather than anything else thats meant to be reliable my friends say they love theres…. oh well

OK so i just unboxed my alienware X51 this afternoon after running GW2 with a dated but capable system (which ran the game on med-high with a steady mid20-mid 30 FPS) and btw the alienware X51 is the high end £1000 model with the i7 core and gtx660 graphics card. Only to my extreme frustration be smacked in the face with an extremely low 1FPS and major freezing issues to the point where i couldn’t even exit the game and have had to hit the power button a few times.

Now is it just me doing something not right or is there something bad afoot because im hearing the low FPS and freezing issues everywhere over these forums.
