Guild Wars 2

Hey all,
I’ve recently started playing GW2 again and thinking to change my current build to a Tempest. My main game is WvW and I’ve put together 2 builds.
I like providing support through heals and condi cleanse, while being able to output a moderate amount of damage. Since I’ve been gone for a while my skills aren’t as good yet so vitality and armor are also important stats(for now). So basically i need everything :P

Any opinions on those?Ideas and suggestions are more than welcome

Yes my ele is lvl 80. Tried your suggestion and strangely enough it worked
Eating a food that gives +Toughness actually triggers the trait, so you get the +120 from stone flesh. It doesn’t make much sense though, since it’s not the way it worked before the patch.
So I guess that until this bug is fixed we have to consume something that gives +toughness?

So I noticed that even though i have that trait, toughness does not adjust when i switch to earth attunement. All the other stats that are affected by traits change but not this one.
Anyone else noticed that?

Well meteornado was bound to receive a nerf.Even if it’s not stated precisely, we all know what tone down their unintended functionality means. I’ve read many posts on here and on other forums stating that this combination was op,an “exploit” or whatever. As an ele myself, i’ve used it several times and i can say that while it does significantly more damage, it has its drawbacks. Meteor shower itself has a long casting time,3 targets and is easily avoidable. Tornado is useful for knockbacks and blinds but as it was stated it makes you a giant target. Add enemy retaliation to the mix and you can be downed in seconds. Taking all of these into consideration I believe this “exploit” or “bug” or whatever you want to call it is balanced enough so that it doesn’t need “toning down”.
As for the rest, I really hope they do a good job reworking those traits and utility skills so that we can experiment with different builds a bit more.

Yes it’s the same dye slot but I’m not sure it happens only with abyss. I remember trying lead dye and a couple of others and it still changed back

Same thing happens to me. One slot keeps changing to tarnish dye. I tried equipping a different shoulders’ armor and then re-skin it but it didn’t work. Already sent a bug report. Let’s hope they take it into consideration cause it’s a kind of annoying bug. Especially when someone has paid 800 gems for it
