I would be screaming from OCD issues… Please keep us up to date…
Been a part of Devona’s Rest since I started. Never have I once had these buffs which are game breaking if you don’t.
It is a huge disadvantage and honestly they should remove it in its entirety until they have it working for everyone again.
It’s a vital function of the game and something this huge would skew the gaming experience as a whole. It would be a merchantability issue and in Washington state (that’s where arenanet is) no kind of TOS can take away the warrant of merchantability without explicit negotiation of such waivers of merchantability.
Ultimately this means if anyone is so inclined to they could demand a refund and be entitled to it.
It sucks because I really enjoy the gameplay but have wondered why I have had issues making the same amount of money as my friends even though I farm way more then them. I plan to stay for a while longer before I opt for a refund. I really hate the idea but with all the disadvantages and the sheer amount of time I have to put in to get the same kind of profits as some people it is extremely disheartening.

Kinda interesting because again… I talk in shorter bursts frequently while running.

If you are spending “all your time playing the trading post” You should really think about working at the stock exchange for fun.

If you can’t deal with it it qualifies for a refund in Washington State.

Did Just fine, people were attacking egg layers like dopes. I got the monthly from attacking the young vets and the young normals. Got 20 contribution and then about 10 more to turn in near lions arch. I was also smart and stacked up MF.
Yes it was laggy, but better then other MMO’s I have seen during a major event like this.
Other games would have crashed, the event would have been restarted etc…
Engineering – 6/10
Gameplay -7/10
Overall Event – 6/10

I’m missing about 500, really not sure if this is going to be standard for new content.. But still I really don’t like seeing all that hard work just go poof…
Having the same issues hopefully this patch will fix it for me. I will update and edit this once I have more info (seriously connection errors gotta love em :|)

I just deposited some Gems into my bank and lost all of them. I drug them to the Guild Bank I own and they disappeared immediately. I thought I would have to scroll for them or something but no I checked my inventory, rechecked my bank incase for some reason they could not be deposited into my GB but went into my bank. Not the case…
I am going to make a ticket as well but I have no clue what is going on. Im trying to relog and check now but I am a little worried and concerned to deposit now. This is happening after the update only as I have 6 items deposited before it.
EDIT: Relog had 1/4 of the gems show up, though now it says no gold deposited…

I just deposited some Gems into the bank now and this is still a problem. Going to relog and check.

Make a ticket… For all we know you could be hiding the stuff in a different bag and being fraudulent.
The gates do not close which re initiates the event to, “unlock it.”
Server restart is one of the few times it fixes.
Its probably just a script for timing: “after event x is opened reset event x after y length of time.” Specifically the gates shutting so you have to talk to oola to open the gate.
Alternative fix would be set this specific version of oola to never despawn.
I’m more interested in where did you get the information about what the patch was for from.
It’s not in the News section, it’s not on the side of the forum page, it’s not popping up as announcement on the top of the forum either?

Guys. Set yourself to Online via the Friends menu and relog.
It fixes the bug.
Didn’t work for me, had to alt f4 after setting myself to online in friends.
Well… I wonder if I am losing those pending updates, architecture 3 and the guild stash hopefully will be completed when I get my guild back?
I have had some issues in guild today whilst otherwise still enjoying the guild as a whole. So I decided to ignore the one user and go about my day. Well... The person did not end up being blocked as I had hoped and expected. I could still see him chatting in guild chat and got frustrated and tried reblocking him. Tried restarting the client to no avail.
Blocking the general populace worked fine, even tested it with a friend to doublecheck. Was able to ignore him then when he got into a guild I could still see him in guild chat. I had him repeat the same tests on his computer and he got the same results.
