Guild Wars 2

As I always look around the outfit section and realize that certain pieces would go nicely to each other. Heck, I noticed some people in map chat wished that there was skins out there that would give their light and medium armor skins look heavy and even vise versa for heavy armor users. Why not have every outfit in the gem store turned to armor skin pieces with their auras as separate wardrobe slots? Of course the cost would be a transmutation charge like the normal fashion of every other armor piece and one way to expand an individual’s wardrobe selection as there isn’t that many new armor skins out there at this time. The Aura Skin Slot would be a separate wardrobe slot that is specific to which aura can be placed on a person’s character. Some auras may not work this way (Mad King Outfit for example) so it would be only certain animations that can be placed within this slot. To help mitigate around this, it would also be a perfect opportunity to have new auras as well whether it be from crafting, the Mystic Forge, dungeons, raids, events and/or Black Lion Chests. What one good way to make your hero stand out more among the others than a shiny new aura. Skritts may be jealous of your new shiny!

I understand that certain stuff has this (Legendary Weapons) but why not for the entire character? Certain auras can have certain level of grades like how armor does as it shows the level of rarity they can be found by. Maybe some auras can help a person see in the dark like how the Fiery Dragon Sword skin for swords lets off a small area around the character to see. Could be too bright as that idea might need work but its something to definitely think about.

I’d like to know on what is causing my issue to where my game will randomly black screen either once or multiple times in a row to where it will eventually make Guild Wars 2 lock up on me. When this happens I have to do the old Ctrl+Alt+Delete method to forcefully close GW2 when the black screens lock up the game. I’ve also encountered to where not only I will have to do this but this past week after a crash it would literally lock up and freeze my PC. When this happens I have to forcefully turn off my tower and turn it back on. I’ve let it sit once to where the music would gradually fade then get a clicking sound back through the speakers which I know this isn’t good.

Issues these persist on is both the 32 bit and 64 bit clients of Guild Wars 2.

I have an extremely powerful PC backed up by a very expensive graphics card and this game is the only one I get this stuff on. I’ve messed with all of my settings numerous times all the way from the lowest of the low to the highest of the high but still get these issues all the time. In fact, I’ve had these issues since May of 2015 when I got back into GW2.

Obvious that I’m still playing the game but I have grown tired of these issues ankitten ow here seeking answers as to why I’m having said issues. Is it because of the brand of PC or graphic card I’m using or is it something in the game’s programming altogether?

@Soren, I shall definitely send you an in-game mail and will also let you up on what’s currently going on right now. I’m currently talking with another small guild with about 3 to 4 people possible to do these guild hall attempts. One thing is 100% certain that when they scratch our backs we’ll be scratching their backs though I need to talk to them on which guild will be going after their hall first while also seeing to set a specific time to do all of this so everyone’s clocks match.

@Donari, that is perfectly fine! Take as long as you need as things need to be worked out on a set time for both guilds to do this endeavor!

I was referenced to you by someone about your attempt at claiming a guild hall for your clan/guild. I’ve been searching around for people as well in trying to claim our guild hall. I currently have 3 people (myself included) active in our guild with 1 temporary volunteer member to help out though I will have to see if my volunteer is comfortable in helping with your guild hall attempt. Whatever game plan you want to make will be fine with us 3.

If you are curious, we are from the Borlis Pass server. Dunno if that will be a factor against us in all of this or not.

I really hate on asking for help from other people but this is my last resort it feels like. Wasn’t able to find help on game so I’m turning to here.

I’m part of an extremely small casual close friends guild with only 3 people partially active (me included) and we just don’t have the manpower to go in and take it by ourselves. I have asked around for volunteers to temporarily join up with us just to go in and kill whatever needs to be killed and then claim it but always either get laughed at, go to another game, QQ more, tell us to disband and do something else, or someone tells us to join up with bigger guilds that have one. We just want to have our own place with our own atmosphere while also enjoying whatever else comes out for Guild Wars 2 in the future.

We cannot offer anything in return for this as to why we’re asking for volunteers to temporarily join us, go in, kill whatever needs to be killed then claim the hall. Just have your Exalted lore trained to access the Exalted markings so we can hopefully get the guild hall. We have paid the 100g and favor to unlock it. Just gotta walk in and talk to the NPC to start the event.

The guild hall we want to claim is the Gilded Hollow. When we’d like to do this is whenever we have enough people to try and make the attempt.
