Guild Wars 2

Don’t even bother to yell at me or whatever, I just want to throw a quick note here for the dev’s. No idea if they will even notice, whatever… but I probably won’t even check this, so anyone trolling me will be talking to an empty room.

Yes, I play WoW. I haven’t been back to GW2 since MoP launched.

Well, there is a 10 hour downtime on WoW and D3, so I thought I would log back into GW2. As usual, it is beautiful compared to WoW, the graphics are amazing.

However… my feet are stuck to the ground. It is very disconcerting. I know there is fast travel and all that, but I still want to fly over this beautiful landscape and explore it at leisure. Not having a flying mount in the main world really detracts from me wanting to play.

I know there are the awesome jumping puzzles that would be foiled by flying mounts, and probably a lot of other things as well, but really, I think those things should be worked around so I can fly over this wonderful landscape, dipping and diving to my hearts content as I explore every nook and cranny of GW2.

Anyways… I don’t know, I just wanted to say, that without flying mounts, the game just seems to static, and two dimensional. After flying over Azeroth for hours, this just feels… slow, and I really want it to be funner. Cause I like the game, I really do, but I hate having my feet stuck to the ground.

I just want to fly.
