Oh the QQ!
Can you believe they might want to regulate the economy? Those kittens! But now I have no reason to play my alts, you say. Pretty sure alts are incorporated for people to try and enjoy alternative playstyles, not to use as extra farming equipment…the VAST majority of players will enjoy this change. Most guesters aren’t even real guests and most people that play alts do it to have different playstyle toons available for different situations. Quit the QQ or quit GW2 either way just quit! If you’re upset that this makes GW2 too grindy you’re obsessed about a “goal” and not savoring the game.
I think this is a stupendous idea! However, I would suggest the influence scale with the fractal levels, start at 0-9 get 10 influence, 10-19 15 influence, 20-29 20 influence, etc. Also I feel if you’re going to give a “guild run” influence bonus you should keep it to 5 guildies, but then again I feel it should be that way for dungeons too (5 guildies for bonus influence). Anyway, this seems like a minute and easily doable tweak that ANet could do to help fractals and reward players.
Seems to me there was considerable lag issues before the once per day nerf, also the overflow won’t change even if you curtail the guesting issuing (though it too needs to be addressed.) Too many people are bum-rushing the Metas to get the limited loot, guesting or no guesting. Earlier spawning won’t help, just look at Frozen Maw or Fire Ele, they spawn more often and are still horrible. The best bet is to have a combination of more frequent spawning AND a synchronized event in overflow. As for the lag issue, I completely plan ANet’s crap attempt at eliminating culling, it’s killed the PVE experience. (good luck finding Prisoner 1141 in guild missions, if she gets even a slight bit ahead of you she disappears thanks to the culling “fix”)
