Adding my voice to the discontent. Always the same every day, 7pm GMT to 11pm GMT is borderline unplayable. This has been happening more and more frequently over the last few weeks.
It’s borderline ridiculous in it’s current situation. My only guess is that the servers are performing some kind of capacity throttling. Every day it’s the same 7pm GMT- 11pm GMT = unplayable.
No reason to remove or change how they contribute to zone completion.
The reason they keep breaking after restarts is because of the hundreds of players rushing them the instant the server pops back up. A skill point gets activated, the first group gets to take it down and continue, then group 2 comes in and 50 people all try to activate it at the same time overloading the server command and it breaks again. Then it remains broken because people continue attempting to activate it all day long never letting it sit untouched long enough for the event to expire.
No reason to remove or change how they contribute to zone completion? People keep hammering them BECAUSE they are required. All the more reason to change something if they aren’t able to get them working reliably. Otherwise what purpose does it serve to frustrate and annoy players who spend time trying 100% a zone only to be continually denied by these broken and largely pointless mini events.
As the title states, with the quite frankly numerous areas of the game with unobtainable skill points due to bugs they should be temporally disabled from the requirements or reduced to 50% required.
Many of the current broken skill points are claimed to be fixed each patch when in fact the only thing fixing them is restarts, which is obviously only temporary, until they soon bug out again.
Personally, I have been waiting for 2 weeks for several areas to be fixed to claim my 100% zone completion.
How about we all pick a server/time and force overflow? I really don’t see any other way to do this, I mean it’s not like it’s getting fixed anytime soon. We aren’t even being acknowledged here.
Amazing that this thread has so many views and replies, is bugged on every server and has been for over a week and that there is zero response from anet.
