Guild Wars 2

Hello All,

I am looking for a semi-hardcore, maybe casusal, PvX guild on Tarnished Coast for Eastern time with focus on Raids and WvW (small group roam or zerg—either is fine). I would also like it if there are lots of members who enjoy fractals, dungeons, and world events. I’d preferably want a medium-size guild between 50-120 players, but that’s not too important. I’m not into RP but would still consider RP-optional guilds.

I love my current guild, but they are starting to stagnate a bit and there are some things happening in the leadership that I disagree with and I think it may be time to venture out a bit. That being said, they are still my friends, and I would still like the option of running some events with them such as doing WvW roaming once or twice a week so a 100% rep requirement is not a good match for me right now.

Active Times: Primetime EST (7pm-12am)
Main: Mesmer
(Though I am practicing on my Ele and planning to switch over permanently)

Lvl 80 Characters: Mesmer, Elementalist (2), Thief, Guardian, Necromancer
Maxed Crafting Skills: Weaponsmithing, Artificer, Tailor
Time playing the game: Just over 1 year

I generally run full Ascended Marauder’s gear on my Ele and Mesmer (Only have 1 set right now, so I switch armor between the 2)

Hey everyone!

tl;dr: Do you think meta will roughly be the same after HoT? Would hybrid Assassin/Soldier make the cut?

I’d like to ask the theorycrafters and more experienced mesmers out there what they think will happen to the meta for Chrono. I’m guessing it would mostly stay Zerk for PvE depending on what happens with raids, however I’m a bit more concerned because I’m crafting my first set of ascended armor and I want it to be decent in both PvE and WvW Zergs. Right now, I’m running Assassin’s with Soldier’s trinkets (to keep precision and survivability up) and liking it. Do you think this kind of gear setup will still be suitable come HoT?

I’m looking for a new guild. I’m interested primarily in PvE—especially dungeons/fractals though I would like to try more PvE and WvW. Depending on how busy I am, I range from casual to semi-hardcore.

I can also speak French and Chinese (Mandarin) and would be willing to join a guild that speaks one of those languages as well (even though there is no Mandarin input available for GW2).

My time zone is Eastern (New York/Boston)
