Maybe just a sticky thread in the ‘Guilds’ forum called ‘Guild Management’? or something like that. The suggestions forum covers too wide a range of topics imo.
I agree with most of what you said. I’m referring to a sticky thread.. or even a thread on the main forums list: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum
I’m sure they are already planning changes, but I’ve seen not official posts regarding upcoming improvements and even with a search it’s tough to find threads to consolidate suggestions into. Instead there are lots of threads with a couple replies.
I know there are topics already posted in the suggestions forum regarding guilds, but I feel it would be great to have a dedicated forums for it.. since the game is called guild wars and all.
As it is I find managing a guild very frustrating and think that many improvements need to be made. Consolidating topics in one forums would be a step in the right direction so that we mat discuss and help give feedback to Anet.
Thx

Small guild looking for more active and friendly players!
Msg me in game or check out our website and fillout the short application there:

yeah I mostly skipped the whole event.
Here’s what I did accomplish:
Ran around and mined candy corn.
Got the first 3 books and then didn’t feel like paying out the kitten to port around and get the others.
Carved a whole bunch of pumpkins but I guess not enough according to the npc, I had no idea how many more I needed so I gave up.
Never even attempted the clock tower cause I just didn’t care. I don’t like platforming.. I play MMOs instead……..
The costume brawl was chaotic and dumb and I’ve no idea what the point was.
I did do the Mad King dungeon about 6 times and that was ok.
I don’t even know what else there was to do. I didn’t really bother to explore it much. I’ve never been onto the holiday events, even going back to WoW. I do enjoy the look of Lions Arch though.

Guild stash and armorer have been purchased!
Still looking for more friendly and skilled players!
2. It would be nice if a message popped up in chat when a guildie logged in. Right now I am using the Friend feature for all my guildmates so that I know when they log on and can say “Hi!”
3. The Message of the Day should pop up in the chat box when you rep that guild, and also when it is changed.
4. The guild leaders should be able to see more details regarding their members, including join date, last login date and perhaps influence earned. This can help leaders to determine who to kick and who to promote, and also help run in-guild contests.
5. No two guilds should be able to have the same guild tag! I saw a recruiting announcement using just the four-letter tag that was identical to ours. That can be confusing! Not sure how you will figure out who gets what tag though. First-come first-serve?
Agree with all these.
As it is leading a guild is a frustrating experience for me as I have no idea who any member is once their not online as it just shows their account name. I know there lots in my guild who haven’t logged on in quite some time and I would remove them if I had any idea when they logged last.
Also, just for the record I absolutely HATE the way players can join multiple guilds. At least half my guild isn’t representing some of the time and it drives me bonkers. There’s no way to tell who’s REALLY in your guild and who is just in but never representing. I guess I could write down every name and try to keep track but when you have 50+ members it gets ridiculous.
Please add better guild management functionality because it is not fun as it is and honestly it bothers me to the point where I don’t want to play. Right now I’m kinda sorry I even started a guild just because of how hard it is to properly manage it.
This is all my subjective opinion of course.

Without meaningful endgame content at lvl 80 lots of players will get bored and prob leave. Maybe some players don’t care because they don’t like raids, but I bet Anet cares.
As it is, there’s no further progression at lvl 80. Guess you could get some cosmetic gear. Zzzzzz.. WvW… /yawn
I think Ops idea sounds pretty fun.
Personally without some more involved content outside of PVP I may not play this game long. I expect Anet realizes there’s lots of PVErs in game and will be adding more PVE content soon.
I lose targets too often and unintentionally!
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that I think most of the players here are more PVErs than PVPers.
