Ever since dungeons have taken a new direction by the devs I noticed the LFG dungeons pages have gotten a lot emptier. So at times (or so for me) it’s a little difficult finding a group to do a dungeon run and in some cases I ended up going solo, so just wanted to share my first DH solo run done in Ascalonian Catacombs Story mode. Yeah I know, story mode, ez peezy. But for me it’s quite an accomplishment, so just wanted to share that. I plan on doing more story runs too. Thank you. Sooo here it is:

Sorry for seeming like I’m stealing this thread but I have a question I feel fits most here, instead of making a new thread. My question is regarding P/P thief and I’ve been reading all the comments here and I see most of you mention PvP gameplay, etc. I have been off guild wars 2 for a long time (over 1 year) and I loved P/P thief. So I wanna ask if I can use the same build you guys are talking about (in video and here) to play in Pve? Since it’s really the one I mostly play.

I use a P/P build in Pve. I go 6/6/0/0/6 . trait Executioner , Mug , Panic strike ., Ankle shots and NQ….you can sometimes take IP as well if you want a bit of heal. The first trait is really your choice any of the three work.

In trickery I take sleight of hand/Flanking strikes and trickster. the Condi cleanse comes from Trickster and using RFI/Withdraw and haste on my utility bar as tricks.

Acro line in a 0/6/0/6/6 would also work if that your style. less outright damage but more dodges and defenses.

Just stay at range and unload/dodge. Works really great on boss fights but you are fragile and have to make sure you do not get hit. BP can be used in a pinch and of course your AA. in Pve a lot of your other pistol skills do not work to well such as the interrupt off headshot so you wont use that much.
