I have played a game call Rappelz. There pet system is very fun to play with and would love to see guild wars 2 do something like that.
example:
1) you have to level up pet. they all start at lvl 1.
2) you have to feed your pet
3) your pet can die
4) your pet can be use weapons and armor (not visible)
P.S:
1) be nice to be able to ride your pet into battle.
2) be nice if your pet could auto pick up items from fight.
Please take this into thoughts for I love pets but much funner playing with pets in Rappelz for now.
