Yeah I don’t know if making the pet aggro less is the way to go. As Daisy said, it would gimp some of the specs and make it difficult for some to build damage and stay at range.
I have to agree though, if you stow the pet, it should be stowed irrespective. I only noticed this while doing jumping puzzles. For me, the pet gets in the way when trying to time jumps etc – he stands on ledges making it difficult to judge where to jump from at times. The problem is, as soon as you are taking damage from some mob/mechanic/extra big jump, out he comes again. Its more frustrating than anything.
It is just inconvenient to have to micro manage the pet ALL the time. I don’t how to fix it, but making the stow pet stay hidden irrespective of damage would be a good start. At least then it would mean the player would have to make a conscious decision to bring it out again.
I remember there was a hillarious conversation in Gendarran Fields between some bandits about letters which started from one claiming “X Marks the spot” before an event where they searched for treasure started.
Somebody uploaded the video on youtube but I never found it again, it was probably one of my favorite conversations due to the sheer comedy it had! (If anybody has the link of it, could you please post it here?)And although not exactly audio, literally everyone should go to the Skritt IQ test subjects in Metrica Province and talk to them just from how funny it is.
Yes I remember the bandit one – there’s about 4 of them following the leader a little way behind him and they are talking between themselves and making little comments that are following the alphabet. The captain chimes in a couple of times and it ends with something like him saying “Shut up or I’ll eviscerate you”. One of the pirates whispers to the other “He said Eviscerate….”
I loved it – would love to find it again.
