My wireless drivers were already reupdated again, I had to boot in safe mode with networking, then it downloaded like a charm.

Hello, I’m having an issue with the downloader, downloading the files to remotely play the game. I’ve been at this for 10 hours, and I’m still no where.

I’ve tried so many fixes, I probably could name you 7 or 8 or them off my top of my head. Either way, it’s been over 10 hours now, and I really just want to play the game I paid for.

I’m freezing on the download client, I get about 3 seconds into the download and it goes from 5mbs to 0kbs in just seconds of starting on my gaming PC. Also, it freezes anything I’m on. Firefox, Steam or any app for that matter. But then resumes along with the download after 2 or 3 minutes of wait time. But again will stop in about 3 or 4 seconds. And freeze again.

On the other hand. I have a old crappy laptop, that downloads the game just fine. But it can’t game well. And I have no means of transferring over the data.

I wanted to see if someone knows a way I can get this to actually download, rather then end tasking the client every 3 seconds to get it going again. Or hopelessly looking for a fix. I have contacted support, but it seems they can’t figure out their own game at this time. I’ll leave my specs, and my Gw2 test I did that support needed me to do below.

PC specs:

AMD FX 8350 @4.2ghz

AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB.

Biostar TA990FXE Mobo.

And a few hard drives. one 600GB, another 2TB and a little 120gb for pictures and stuff.

Hello, I’ve been with support and they can’t even figure their own game out right now. now I’ve been here 9 hours trying to get this game to ACTUALLY install fully. but it’s impossible. I’ve done 7 fixes around the net for it, and nothing will work. You guys tell me what I might be able to do.

So far, I’ve updated all drivers, every single one, took off everything on start up, moved to different hard drives, changed my Host files, redownloaded it, reset my router and modem, restarted my PC, changed the priority of the installer to realtime and or high. I’ve done both and many many others. That I can’t even remember because I’ve done so many. Can ANYONE seriously help me. I just wanna play…

My main issue is. the game just won’t install. It goes for a bit, then it goes to 0 download speed. THAN it freezes whatever I’m doing. Firefox, steam, anything it freezes. The whole system does but sound stays, for about 1 to 2 minutes. Then it goes back to normal for a couple seconds, and does it again. But it’s only whenever I try to install the game.
