Nevermind, I hunted the forum and found the answer.

“Every 10 levels a new storyline is unlocked. Previously the story steps would look like:
L3, L5, L7, L9,L10 for a storyline.
Now they’re:
L10, L10, L10, L10, L10.
They end at the same level, but now require you to be L10 to do the entire storyline. Previously, a lot of players found it very frustrating to have to interrupt the story steps to level up constantly to keep up.”

As a new player who had the green marker to start my quest last night, and to log in today to move toward the marker only for it to be gone was frustrating. I knew I had to go to my home instance for Quinn so I looked around the instance for much longer than I would like to admit since I thought the marker being gone was a glitch. How unfortunate… Unimpressed with this new system of “all quests at once at X level” and a bad first impression of the game. At the very least under “Story Journal” where my quests show (for My Story), you could put “Unlock at X Level” instead of it sitting there like it’s available. I tried all sorts of clicking on the quest I had available last night thinking I was doing something wrong.

Edit: After looking I can now see above the first quest I already completed with a green check mark it informs me I cannot access the next quests until level 10. Too bad I was so focused on the quest below that once that needed to be done…

I am new player so I hope I am not missing this completely. Before I logged off yesterday, I had just received Quinn’s first letter requesting I meet him back at my home instance (Salma) I went into town after finishing at the farm and I had the marker to go toward Quinn. I log off last night at that point, and log on today to head to Quinn via the marker. Well, the quest Marker is gone, so I head to my home instance in the hopes I will just be able to find him by looking around at names. No luck. It’s been too long for me to spend any more time on this. How do I get my quest marker back?

Info:
I go to “Story Journal” – My Story
Defending Shaemoor has a green check mark – below that, The Perils of Friendship (the one with Quinn) has a grey marker next to it. If I hover over the grey marker, it says “This is your most recently activated episode”. Clicking it does nothing.

How do I resolve this? Any help is much appreciated. Sorry if I am making a rookie mistake here.
