Yes, i’ve been camping this all day too, and nothing. Please fix this, so we can complete our journeys for Sunrise.
yeah that worked, thanks. still something they need to look into and fix without workarounds.
I tried the safari clearing cache thing suggested in the thread, but still doesn’t work.
Hello – I installed GW2 on my macbook air this week while i’m at my parents house so that I can take advantage of whatever black friday sales you guys are having this week. After installing on OS X El Capitan (13 inch mid 2012, 1.8 core i5), the game is running fine, but the store does not pull up anything – it’s a blank page.
Please advise, Thanks
Just had this issue now. Taimi was stuck.
Here’s a post on reddit I saved from a few days ago, that someone else did:

ahh, ok i see now. thanks
I’m not understanding how running down energy affects the cooldown of One with Nature, can you explain further?
Not sure what you’re talking about….the point is if you level to 80, and want to do your personal story, season 1, 2, you are wasting all the xp you get doing those things until you skip ahead in the Guild wars storyline and unlock masteries in the HoT content.
I’m very disappointed that you’re forced to go and turn on the mastery system by doing the first part of Heart of Thorns, in order to not waste any xp you might get by doing the earlier chapters.
I have been away from the game since release, and started again last week with a new revenant. I got to 80 over the weekend, and after 80 I was working through the personal story, intending to do season 1 and 2, then start doing heart of thorns story. However, after the first mastery bar filled up, it remains stuck at zero until I do the first part of Heart of Thorns. This is very disappointing, i would like the ability to play through the story all together, and not “spoil” it for myself, but also I would like to be able to get mastery xp as I progress through person story, season1/2.
Please re-look at this, and at least let the xp queue up for the mastery system further. (without awarding points)
Great video, thanks. I just hit 80 on my rev, so still trying to gear up and figure it out. Maybe a suggestion for future video would be a build/strategy for starting on HoT before you get herald/glint.

Using Alts
Pro – Cheaper… you don’t have to pay the fee for switching
Pro – You get 20 free levels on your alt for maxing two professions
Pro – More bag space between characters for intermediary components
Con – You have to swap characters often.
Con – This will make newbie areas slightly easier if you powerlevel crafting since your alts will all start at level 20. Guild Wars 2 level scaling mostly mitigates this effect but not completely. (Some people may see this as a Pro)
Using One Character
Pro – Your main character is more “complete”
Pro – 60 extra skill points on your main character (makes getting legendary weapons easier)
Pro – You don’t have to swap characters to make an item
Pro – You will be able to make the components for any epic weapon you want
Con – This can get expensive if you switch often (40 silver may not break the bank, but it isn’t cheap either)
Con – Space will get short and you will find yourself muling often.
