Your condition removal is pretty bad. You’re gonna be made into a commander epi target which is ideal for the other team (we already do this to kalkz on your server as his build seems to have 0 condition management). Tanky targets that can’t remove their conditions = punching bag for stacking condis on then epidemic to the people who will melt in seconds under the same pressure. It’s essentially the same thing we do to people who stand near siegeraiser so don’t command like that.

Now I did say that it’s usefull in PvE, and not so much in WvW. That’s the only downfall of it. Dolyak signet can be replaced with Shake it off, and the Restoration sigil can be replaced with purity. Anyone can tweak the build anyway they like to work for them. In the traits, missile reflection can be replaced by cleansing ire or dogged march, removing/reducing conditions. In tactics, replace the first with inspiring standards, and change the second to shake it off, removing a second condition automatically with a rather long cooldown. That’s just example.

GW1 Wammo. :P

Seriously, can we get a video?
I’m curious to see how it performs in 30+ frac and WvW.

PS: The graphics on your screens, ouch. Those aliased textures. Ugh.

Yeah I know, it sucks but that’s the only way my computer will run it. Not much I can do about it. As I said, it works well in PvE. Not so much in WvW, but it does take them a little bit to take you out. I hear a lot about cheesy Mace/shield GS builds but I use a MS Rifle set up in WvW. Another warrior in SPVP wanted to go against me, but he just didn’t have the DPS to match my regen. This build is a hunkerdown, shutdown, stand still build. Thieves and Ele’s got the dps to hurt ya a bit, but even a thief in WvW would take a bit to even get you to half. once you realize you’re not gonna make it you got the stability and blocking ability to just literally run away.

I’ve been told to post this build on the forums cause of how it works.

I’ve got full soldier gear, All exotic, Power major, Vit and Tough minor with Sup runes of the dolyak
Weps are Rare Sentinel shield with Sup sigil of restoration, and Droknar’s hammer exotic mace with sup sigil of debility
Trinkets: Ascended Soldiers amulet, exotic soldiers rings and earrings and a Guild defender backpack with soldier crest

Traits are 10 Strength: Great fortitude
30 Defense: Shield master, Missile Deflection, and Defy pain
30 Tactics: Desperate power, Inspiring banners, Inspiring Battle Standard

Skills are Healing signet, Dolyak signet, Balanced stance, and Banner of tactics.

Nourishment is a mango pie.

In doing this, you will have Extended weakness infliction, which will half incoming damage 50% of the time. Over 30k hp, over 3500 armor, almost 3k attack, Extended stability and swiftness durations as they are boons, 2 forms of stun break, a counter, a block, and 3 forms of stun/daze.

You will also have 6 forms of incoming HP with a technique I call stalling.
Banners will give 1) Regen, 2) Shield on kill, 3) Adrenal regen through trait, 4) Mango Pie regen, 5) Dolyak rune Regen, 6) Healing signet regen.

Stalling is a Technique I made by using the full duration of the shield block skill, and endure pain at 25% hp. blocking attacks allows HP to build back up momentarily as long as there isn’t mass conditions on you so you can take more hits. The banner can be substituted with any other banner while still giving regen.

The full run down is that not only with a large hp base, Damage reduction through a sizeable amount of armor and weakness infliction on up to 3 nearby targets in range, regen out the wazu. Also equipped with a counter, stuns, daze, and blocks, plus stability and allies receiving HP through regen plus the bonus of the banner, will allow you to take on 2-3 addy’s in a dungeon on your own, if not that at least hold them.

Now mind you this build is FANTASTIC in PvE. Not so much in WvW unless you’re good at hitting moving targets in melee range. Your secondary can be a Rifle or longbow as those allow you to hit even moving targets effectively.

So there it is. The Guild Leader Fuski-Tank special. Borlis Pass Warrior, Commander, FML/LOL Leader

Superior Rune of the Dolyak

In reality, everyone can spend money on superior rune’s of the soldier. BLOW IT ALL AWAY on it. Congrats to you. But do the number crunch on the rune compared to the crest.

Superior rune of the Soldier (1 gold 38 silver 58 bronze)
25 + 50 + 90 vitality = 165 vitality.
25 + 35 toughness = 60 toughness.
Shouts heal
across all 6 armor pieces = 225 stat total

Crest of the soldier (3 silver, 26 bronze)
20 power x 6 = 120 Power
14 toughness x 6 = 84 toughness
14 vitality x 6 = 84 vitality
Across all 6 armor pieces = 288 stat total

Both prices are current as of today’s date 6/8/2013. You get 1 stat per piece of armor with the rune. 3 per piece with crest. Less vitality but more toughness and power. In a warrior profession, we can get 5% of our power as a bonus to vitality as a passive trait. Which would be the better buy? I say not the rune of the soldier for all you die hard “YAY RUNE” people.

But to the topic at hand, I got a superior Sigil of restoration (gain health on kill), signet of healing (passive regen), adrenal healing (regen based off adrenal level). The 3 together makes me quite the combatant especially with my weakness infliction halving some of the damage incoming. an additional 30HP (per second as most fights last at least 20 or so running solo) is 600 hp. the longer the fight, the more hp you gain back in the long run. In theory putting all the above together and combine the extra pinch of HP, may not be as bad as most would think.

Make sure you have the bronze to cover the listing fee. The higher the price to sell, the higher the listing fee.
